I'm guessing the players he recruited can follow him to his next job.
Dude, stop posting. He should take the Colorado job and rebuild that program.
Who is SWAC, lol!
You don't believe he can turn around Colorado?Dude, stop posting.
Will anyone be at the SWAC Championship game?
Ticket and parking for me was under a $100.00 but I bought it right at the 2 minute mark of the Bayou Classic.great chance I think the cheapest ticket we find online was $80
don’t want to take a chance buying one out there
He should take the Colorado job and rebuild that program.
Exactly. That Colorado job is asking to fail. If you are going to take a job going from SWAC, take a job but you could actually potentially succeed at. You can't succeed in ColoradoOnly way he'd stay is if someone with big pockets would give the school a boatload of money. Power 5 schools, money isn't an issue. I just hope he doesn't take the Colorado job, that's not a good job at all.
That last part. Future coaching opportunities would take a huge hit. People would walk away from Deion Sanders feeling at that job saying, I knew he couldn't do it. That's damn they're like taking the Cleveland Browns job and I'm a goddamn Brown's fanBullshit !! That is the last job he should take. Colorado is arguably the worst football program in the country and is nowhere near close to being a major football power. Sanders can't resurrect it and his future coaching opportunities would take a huge hit.
Yep! Mel Tucker left after one year when Michigan State offered him a job lol.Exactly. That Colorado job is asking to fail. If you are going to take a job going from SWAC, take a job but you could actually potentially succeed at. You can't succeed in Colorado
So you don't have faith in Deion that he can resurrect Colorado?Bullshit !! That is the last job he should take. The Browns got Deshaun Watson now they have the potential to be a great team and they got Nick Chubb and Amari Cooper too that's a good job for a coach. That last part. Money must be too good to pass up, Colorado is a shit job but who am I to judge a man getting the money on the table?

Here’s the one thing that I will say, as much as I think the Colorado job is garbage, he kind of has no choice but to take it. Here’s my thought behind it: when you’re on top everyone loves you, you can do no wrong. What he’s done at JSU for three years is elevate them, but he’s more so elevated HIM. Right now, ‘Coach Prime’ is at its zenith as a brand, as a marketing and recruiting tool, and the results in the SWAC, not matter how good or bad, top to bottom the conference is or isn’t, is opening eyes. But, go 7-5 or 6-6 next season, all that shine is GONE. Recruits who would come play for you at 12-0 or 11-1 would rather go to 8 win high/mid D1 than play for your “averge” HBCU program, no matter who you are. And, because you’re ‘Coach Prime’, youre NEVER supposed to got 7-5 or 6-6 at JSU, because now all the people know with you is winning and double digit win seasons and that’s all they will accept. Stumble a year or two and them same folks who would have given their first born to you in 2022 will be saying how good you ARENT in 2024. Your ego, which everyone loved when you were winning, suddenly it’s a problem, your pedigree (well, he really AINT SWAC) is a problem……you can do no right, even if the temporary downfall is because 1/2 your team got hurt, “well, hes ‘Coach Prime’ he should be winning with the second and third stringers.”when this is announced, I expected to see a comment on here that will display major moistness that he’s leaving JSU for another job.
That moisture been display for a couple of weeks now…
Read my post above this one, I was surprised too, but it makes sense to me.Yeah I'm kind of surprised he took this job, I believe if he waits another year or two there will be better jobs available. Or maybe he has a deal with Colorado that if something else opens up, he gone lol.

Is it a purely capitalist move? Sure! But that’s the business, cash out high, get the next big check. Deion did three years of good for JSU and Jackson, MS and is now doing what he never said that he wouldn’t do, which is look out for number one.
