if this was an "official" IDJ strip club thing, it would be at Sin City in the BX. the guy who would be involved for IDJ on this is tight with his people over at Sin City. i know cause he tells me all the time.

Last I heard Sin City was tripping on the entry costs. Hopefully the girls there arent as bad as the ones at the Wedge.I saw more bulletholes & scars on them broads than in the entire Rambo, Die Hard & Terminator movie series combined.

i'm remember those spots and Al's Mr. Wedges. :smh: to be young and dumb.

anyone remembers that spot in Hell's Kitchen called Meadalus Bar or something like that? might of been one of the grimest spots i can recall. at least in the boro of manhattan, that is.

I'm not trying to knock this man's hustle but I'mma call it as I see it in the name of keeping it 100%.

When Rudy Giuliani was mayor, he instituted a zoning rule that adult businesses (strip clubs, adult movie stores, etc) cannot operate 500 feet within a school or residential zone. Total nudity is forbidden (and he has sent the goons in blue to raid a great spot or two back in the day). Topless is legal so long as there's no-contact lap dancing and the establishment is outside of the 500-feet zone.

And since the Sofa Lounge is physically next door to a popular eaterie and a mere block away from a stream of houses and apartment buildings, there's no way that it'll be operating in a worthwhile fashion (tipping and touching + down low VIP "treatment"). Not to say none of those spots exist in NYC but it DAMN SURE wouldn't be advertised on no message board for it to be subject to a raid.
