Dedication to My Father...

What's good brethren, I make this post in regard to the recent death of my father this past week, He passed just this Thursday february 8th @ about 2:30 in the A.M., He had a long bout with Prostate Ca.If you cats can recall I made a post about going to (The Dec..) Decatur G.A., Although it didn't happen I somehow/someway ended up having him living with me...which I wanted to happen anyway because of the living situation he was in...I put up a long HARD rigorous four months of running him to the V.A. Hosp, to oncologoist(Cancer Dr.), and all kinds of appt's, Plus me being a nurse, I had my hands in on caring for him to.But he just could'nt hold on.I share his obituary with you, so when you fellows go to have a drink, Could ya pour a lil out for my Pops in remembrance...

But I just wanted to show my LOVE for my Dad, By dedicating this to him, And for the bruh's who gave me some info on The Dec... I really appreciate it.

I lost mine 2002. I can tell you it gets better with time. I always think of the better days and what he would have wanted me to do.

Your dad raised a good son, that's all I gotta say. I have three sons myself and I try to do my best with them and show them love as well as being stern.

I wanna take this opportunity to remind the older cats to get their psa tests when they do check ups. Its a blood test and can give a hint if ya prostate is acting up. I'll do a thread on this tomorrow.

Stay strong fam, I can definitely feel your pain! I lost my father on 12/23/06 around christmas. My mother and still find it hard to believe! He passed on from complications after an emergency operation. I never cried so hard and so much in my life. We comforted ourselves when ole' James Brown passed that Monday on Christmas, a least he didn't leave alone, he'll be boogeying up a storm with J.B. we said. Good shout out to your pops man, I lost my mother in 1999, and nearly lost my Stepfather, in 1997, I have 2 dads. So I can definately sympathize with your pain. Glad you have good memories of him.
