Even though the Bulls team does better now then the warriors back then. Its just too physical for todays standard. I don't think cats even remember when guards would be checked from end to end the entire game. PG had to really dribble and really pass.
I say the Bulls. If you want to talk 3-point shooting Bulls had Hodges, Paxon, Kerr and BJ Armstrong depending on what team you choose.
Nobody's stopping MJ and they didn't lose in the Finals. I've always felt that if MJ didn't retire they would went to or won 8 championships in a row.
So for me, it's the Bulls.
And it doesn't matter the era, both teams would adapt in whatever era chosen.

Think of defensive rules of yesterday vs. today. That is why either team would lose to the other in their era. I am one of the biggest Bulls marks out here but Hodges, Pax, Kerr, and Armstrong were catch and shot guards. Meanwhile Curry and Thompson can get theirs off the dribble.
The Bulls of that era would have mugged the Warriors defensively. The Warriors of today would have had the Bulls in foul trouble.
Like I said, the players would adapt. I know we "Have" to implement the rules but some things are a given.

Bulls cant beat the Warriors. They dont score enough nor have the type of personnel you need to beat the Dubs. Klay Thompson is a big athletic defender that would make MJ work on offense and defense. Nobody on the Bulls can guard Curry or Durant. Those two would feast on whoever was guarding them. You have to have a versatile 3 ball team full of forwards or athletic bigs to beat the Dubs and the Bulls werent that. The Bulls "iso" ball for a shooting guard that isnt a long range threat aint beating an athletic ball movement team.
