Yes. Shes taking my name. She took my name. If she really wanna keep her identity, independence and be not traditional. We just not getting married and that would be cool too. But we not cherry picking shit to suit some feminist ideology and expecting me to ride with it.
My deal was, if the expectation was we would have a traditional marriage, then we were all-in on it, including her taking my last name. That hyphenated bullshit was not an option. It was the hill I was ready to die on. Multiple years later, the family unit is strong under a common flag.
