A Netflix series based on a movie about a female "pro Black" college radio host feeling comfortable about being in love with a White man... :dunno:
And as much as I find Logan Browning fine as fuck... no thanks. :smh:

as long as the black men and black women keep agreeing to do these type of shows then they will keep making them. blaiming white people is an excuse.

they wasn't forced to be in the shows that have interracial scenes or gay scenes but they still do them that's what I was saying.

I know thats what YOURE sayin which has nothing to do with what I said...

again

can you name the last time you seen a chocolate couple in love on the big screen?

if not why do you think that is??

well my favourite movies are "dear john" and "titanic" so both of those love scenes are my favs.

hollywood has a problem with showing "black' love...

they understand the power of image and use it to thier advantage hence all the faggotry we see being awarded in the last ten years...

especially since many movies go global....and leave impressions on the people viewing it...

which is why many people overseas feel some type of way about "black' people...

well maybe black people need to start putting their own material out there and flip the narrative. I'm all for interracial scenes I don't have any problem with them, I just don't like the faggotry though.

thats exactly the solution, Im just questioning the hollywood agenda..

Shows great..movie was alright but didnt really live up to the high expectations that we had for it..
So far, this works much better as a show, well written and we get way more depth and backstory on all the characters..the "scandal" and "iyanla fix my life spoofs" had me and my wife laughing our asses off.

Lots of beautiful sistas on here..i was hoping to see Teyonnah paris play coco again...but the sista playing her role in the series is beautiful..nice seeing Nia long

Enjoying it so far

On episode 6.....episosde 5 was real dope. Y'all sleeping on this shit. Its crazy to see how far this shit has come. I remember when it was a mock trailer to get a movie produced. Got a movie produced and now a Netflix series.

The main character kind of threw me off initially..... there's nothing like this on TV.
Don't forget about Ashley Blaine....

Yeah you're right. I liked the movie.......but I can see people feeling like it didn't live to its potential. IT was also from a young filmmaker too so he probably had to work his way into what he is today. But the show is so much more in depth. IT was genius to make this a TV show. I didn't think it would work but they knocked it out the park.

Since I know hollyweird is the de facto propaganda arm of the white racist establishment, I have a problem with any black person involved with a white person because it is solely a white agenda. Especially when that black person is supposedly going in on whites. Their perspective is always suspect to me. You can't serve two masters.

maybe I'll try it
