Dead Rising 3 - Zombie Apocalypse Evolved

^---they banned that Niggas console.

I think they unbanned it. He tweeted Major Nelson, and supposedly got it worked out. That would have been bad PR for M$...banning a legitimate purchase because the customer received it before the release date? It's not the gamer's fault.

Its a temp ban until the 22nd now. But microsoft always bans people who get shit early they don't care if its legitimate.

What's the purpose behind it? I'd like a reason, and not that corporate talk, a real logical reason.

And who is that in your sig?

Due to a retail partner’s system issue, a very small number of Xbox One consoles were shipped to consumers before the 11/22 street date. We’re pleased to see the initial response to Xbox One has been so positive, but given we are still putting the finishing touches on our games, UI and online services, as well as confidential partner and media agreements, these consoles units will be restricted from connecting to Xbox Live until closer to our launch date.

We love that @Moonlightswami is excited about Xbox One and we can’t wait for him to enjoy it closer to launch.

I don´t understand why they banned the consoles, it is not their fault to receive it earlier than the rest, they should let it enjoy the console because he payed for it.

They didn't ban as such, they just blocked them from going on Xbox Live because right now its a controlled environment for testing readiness for launch and having 150 more people on there breaks that control.

The same way if I was launching a new website I would block all IPs except my own for testing as having random people dropping on there, seeing it broken, can have unexpected consequences and also gives a bad first experience. Its likely not all the servers are actually enabled right now, an extra 150 people could overload it.

Not to be outdone by Sony's PS4 launch week extravaganza, Microsoft today released this video showing off how the Xbox One's sleek Snap feature will work.

That's how you'll multitask if you get yourself the newest Xbox, which launches on November 22. We'll have a full review (and much more coverage) for you next week.

When reviews are released closer to the consoles release date, it's not a good sign for the game. Ryse could end up being a 7.0 .7.5 game. I could be dead wrong. Maybe mixed reviews. :dunno:

Heads Up: Our Xbox One Review Will Run On Tuesday Night

It's PS4 day, but what about the Xbox One? Don't worry. We'll be getting to it. We'll have a review of Microsoft's console live on Kotaku at 9pm PT on Tuesday, November 19 (that's midnight on Tuesday for those of us on the east coast). The system launches on Friday, the 22nd.

Sony allowed us to review their console and launch games all at the same time. Microsoft is doing things a little differently, staggering review embargoes throughout next week. Look for Dead Rising 3 and Crimson Dragon reviews as soon as Monday and Ryse on Thursday.

You might also be interested today in impressions of the PS4 and Xbox One that critic Chris Suellentrop and I wrote for today's New York Times about the consoles and some of their games.

Not only can you expect a lot more coverage of the Xbox One as we get closer to its release, but once both consoles are out, we'll be running comparisons for those of you who are trying to decide if one is better for you than the other.

There are game review embargoes sprinkled throughout the week. Not having played through any launch games yet, I couldn't even tell you if I think they're trying to put their best games first, last or even bookending the weaker stuff. We'll see!

This and Knack received play this game but Killzone didn't from Kotaku? Maybe they should say rent or buy because this seems like a rental.

 they gave this a good rating but shit on Killzone SF

Game Informer's is funny because they talk about all the bugs in the game yet it receives a 8.75. Launch games truly are allowed to be broken.

"Dead Rising 3 marks the most fun I’ve had with the franchise, but the impressive technical accomplishment comes with its share of problems. Items dropped onto the ground sometimes fall through the world, becoming unobtainable. Crowds of zombies can suddenly fade away, leaving you swinging at the air. Equipped weapons occasionally disappear from your hands. Despite the impressive draw distance, objects can pop-up out of nowhere. The optional Kinect options, like yelling “over here” to attract groups of zombies was cool when it worked – about one out of five times. These annoyances never stalled my overall progress or dramatically impacted the sheer joy of wasting untold numbers of zombies, but they’re enough to make me wish the developers could have spent more time ironing them out."
