Dark Side of the Ring - Pro Wrestling Vice Series

I feel you.

Some of the deaths though sad, weren't tragic enough for me to really need to know more to the story, but the story behind Sid Viscous and Arn Anderson, man....that would be ILL.

Jake would have been a cool episode but he's already been covered in Beyond the Mat AND in his own DDP Produced documentary, which also had Scott Hall.

Dynamite Kid would be great though, especially tying it to Benoit.

I hear you.

But remember we only know the surface level of some of their stories (with the exception of Hall, Jake.)

For example I saw an interview with Brian Pillmans son talking about how grimey his mother was when it came to his death. On top of that they say dude was unstable backstage as well.

With Rick Rude he was reported to be a bully backstage and even out of the ring. I remember seeing a video where they described him refusing to give his belt back after losing and when he finally agreed he made them come to his car to get it and when he popped the trunk showed them a gun sitting right next to it.

You could do an episode on the Hart Foundation considering the fact that other than Bret Hart all died early (sort of like the Von Erichs.)

I wonder if Vice and the producers are brave enough to go after Pat Patterson and WWF regarding his sex abuse scandals with wrestlers.

Speaking of the Hart family, I had an idea to do a documentary on a woman who was connected to Teddy Hart who disappeared here in FL back in 2016. I actually was starting to plan it out, but decided against it, due to family safety reasons.

Living here outside of Orlando, there are a lot of wrestlers, and last year, I met a local wrestler who runs a school here too. We hit it off, was going to do video work for the guy until I Googled his name: Chasyn Rance.

Dude is an unsavory character with a lengthy wrap sheet. Suffice to say, I pulled away from working with him, then came across the sad story of Samantha Fiddler, a Canadian professional wrestler who moved to Central Florida with Teddy Hart, who was training at Chasyn Rance's wrestling school.

She went missing not long after and hasn't been seen since.

Teddy Hart and Chasyn Rance are not suspects however many here in Florida believe they had something to do with her disappearance or know something.

Crazy shit is, people know their backgrounds and they still get work. The wrestling world is crazy.

I did a ton of research on doing this as an independent project but the wife was cautious. We live here and we have kids.

I might have to deal with commercials and not wait for Hulu

Especially for ones like the Ultimate Warrior

I read they're doing one on the plane ride from hell also which sounded like it would be good.

I think Jake the Snakes father is going to be on this season too which should be crazy considering all the shit he's been accused of.
