This is some the best pure Spider-Man I've read in years. As bad as Osborne has been in many other Marvel titles, I literally have a disdain for him in this title. He's a super asshole for real.
I have to give Marvel credit. They are doing a really good job with Dark Reign.
I liked the Thunderbolts but i'm loving Osborne and the Dark Avengers.

But I still want to be like Norman Osborn when I grow up
Norman Osborne is turning out to be pretty effective as Marvels douche bag numero uno but I can't help but wonder why Marvel haven't incorporated the Black Panther and Thor books into the Dark Reign story arc.
The Iron Man book is boring me to tears and I just can't see the point of the current Fantastic Four arc right now.
I also feel that the Green Scar persona of the Hulk would have been an interesting character to factor into the proceedings as well but hey, I don't work at Marvel and only they know why they chose to squander one of the best character developments they've come up with in years as far as the Hulk is concerned.
Having said that, I have been impressed by the overall tone and handling of Bullseye under his guise of Hawkeye.
His psychotic encounters with Deadpool and Elektra have made for extremely entertaining forays into the dangerously twisted minds of all three of these lethal characters.
Only time will tell how Bart Clinton will go about reclaiming his mantle as Marvels premier bowman.

Dark Reign is definitely shaping up to be a redeemer series clearing up the mess left in the wake of the thoroughly dissapointing Civil War & Skrull Invasion big events.

Many times in comics it's not so much the powers or abilities they have that make it unbelievable it's the reasoning the characters make the decisions they make.
How Spider-Man does not lose it on Norman is beyond any man...All he has to do is remember Gwen and unleash the beast on his ass.
