This is the one you’ve been waiting for. Damon Dash talks Aliyah, life without Jay Z, how he’s completely done with the music game, why he was an asshole to anyone who got in his way and why the kind of “broke” he is might be the best thing in the world. We also get some very tense moments as Just Blaze finally airs out why he didn’t eff with Dame. Ya’ll truly ain’t ready for this dynasty thing.

I listened to it early this morning. A couple of things. That shit between Just and Dame went on for way too long. They seem to have some underlying unresolved issues. I think it's fair to say that everyone would have wanted Dame to speak in detail on the breakup of the dynasty. He doesn't. The relationship with Jay is barely touched on. He really glosses over a lot of shit. I expected him to be more transparent in this interview especially since he and Reggie have history. I'm not disappointed, but I did expect more.

I think the best interviews are normally with people you don't know

but when he said I can't call you combat...that set the tone of how it was going to go. And Dame is a boss he's not going to be too revealing, that's his personality. It was different than him and Clark Kent.

I'm not through the whole thing yet

I notice the better interviews that he has...Ralph McDaniels, RZA, Young Guru, Premier, Clark Kent, Killer Mike...they don't seem long enough

But yeah Just has hostility towards Dame and Cam...he's mentioned it on a couple of interviews...mainly during his interview before he became a member.

dame gives a good interview but he also has more game than most.

notice how he talks all this new age peaceful shit but he couldn't even apologize to just blaze nor could he talk straight about rocafellas breakup.

That's because Justblaze kept acting like a little biatch....Btw he kept saying I'm sorry if I hurt your feeling but that was fucking with JB manhood.

"I'm sorry if I made you sad..."
"...you had your rhinestone, no, your bedazzled belt buckle and a fake jerzee..."

It's true that you can't fake something that you're not for long. Dame proved it here.

All that love peace and hair grease shit is extra false. Too bad though, all that bread left on the table

Two scenes that sum up that situation...

First find an english version for the first vid;) (but I know it).
Cmon he said to JB sorry if I hurt your feeling. JB states it isn't about his feeling being hurt. Yet his feelings were obviously hurt and he had been holding on to that shit for a long time. Later in the interview Dame started fucking with him because JB kept acting like a biatch. Nobody was killed during this interview.

Look at the business in which Dame was in where every representive of that male driven industry that's a minority shows some type of brovado that maybe driven by the enviroment that they work in and or because their own success in that difficult business.Whose to say what is fake and what isn't,even if later on like Dame for example you admit that you were acting but at the time it was something that you did regardless of how exaggerated it might have been.

He was an asshole, granted but he did it as a means to an end of succeeding in a dog eat dog business. That type of asshole can be forgiven after a nice peice of humble-pie.

lol damn i didnt notice the language. my bad.

think about if u had an abusive boss. dude used to son u in front of any and everybody. he used to treat everybody like shit and basically self destructed. u kept ur head down and made a helluva name for urself over the years and then u run into the dude at ur new job. ur not a kid or his employee anymore but he still tries to go into bullymode like back in the day in front of ur new coworkers. even has them clowning u like he had the old coworkers going in on u. just blazw was the geek up at rocafella. u know he used to get it the worst. yea i can see how dame touched a sore spot with just blaze and he knew what he was doing.

"sorry if i threatened your manhood"
cmon tht needs no explanation. thats not a genuine apology. thats the way a narcissist bully who is pretending to be a nice guy says sorry.

"cmon hitting u would not be a good look for me"
thats saying a tough guy gets no points for beating up a pussy. still throwing shots at jb.

thanks i'm only about 30 minutes. i've said it a million times...as much as bgol and people hate on dame for being cocky or an asshole....unlike puffy, suge, master p, baby and others you ain't hear shit about dame ripping his artist off. all the conspiracy shit you hear with the other guys i mention u didn't hear that with dame. I know it looks like he's broke now and that's the only reason he's speaking positively. But, I was a huge rocafella fan. Aside from him pouring champagne on half naked women in those great hype williams videos. dame for as long as i can remember always spoke positive and intelligently in interviews. i'm not saying he didn't have any flaws but it appears he was better than the other major blacks running labels.

From what i can see, hear and read....Dame Dash treated his artist better than puffy, suge, master p, irv, and baby.

i think at this point, if dame isn't gonna say something good about jay, its best he doesn't say anything. he says he's not but i do believe he got black balled. I think at this point its just best to not say much unless your getting paid to tell those stories (a movie, book, etc...). Saying the wrong thing about jay at this point could hurt more than it could help.

i didn't know young guru was on there, i posted his red bull academy interview in 1 of those rap documentary threads. Just Blaze also had one. But, i'm gonna have to go to Combat Jack's page and check out some of those joints i've missed. From what you listed, i'm very interested in hearing the Clark Kent interview.

 that's exactly what it was, the way Dame was saying that shyt pissed JB off even more.

He clowned the shit out of Just Blaze, and Dame was still talking to him like he was 24.

He was sensitive ass shit over the jerseys

This is taking too long...we've been on this one night forever...this is too much information...what does this have to do with your fake jerseys

Just Blaze seems like a dude who caught feelings instead of joking back or taking it in stride.

Dudes need to just subscribe to the podcast. I think it's on Stitcher also.

That interview they did with AZ was the shit and they know each other. He was getting AZ to talk about battling Jay Z in high school and his mysterious millionaire girlfriend.

Why do dudes keep hyping the AZ interview

I didn't think the AZ interview was all that.

The Nore one was good. The Cormega, Maino and Redman one were good also.

They've had some bad ones...the Jarobi was awful. I wasn't impressed with EPMD, Shyne or Milk D either.

The Ken Montgomery(HU), white Torae, and Ed Woods were also good for various reasons.

Oh, I gotta go pull up that white Torae interview. The joints he did with Starr and Ralph McDaniels were really good also.

Because I learned how he got in the biz and his history with people I didn't know he had.

Man, I'm glad Just was there. I think the interview would have been sort of boring and standard if it wasn't for him being so sensitive.

That's how it was with Pete and white Torae and Ed Woods and Dallas.

Good discussion, Dame was making sound and valid points around the 25 mark on...Then it seems to drop off a cliff at the 34minute mark when he makes the fake jersey comment.

Im at the 34mark now so i have no idea where it goes from here but the tone of the discussion just immediately changed.

peace

Is there a link to this interview?

Its on uToob in 3 parts.
Heard it last night & am listening to Mega's now,
