Just so you know, the main differences of whether your house burns to the ground or is defended is the location of your home in relation to a hill,if you have a wood shake roof, and the proximity of brush to your home.Some homes we skip defending because of one of these things.

This fire is in burbank, 25 miles or so from ocean... and in a valley so.it gets hot
