Let me explain some things to you as someone who has applied this law and seized money. All transactions over $10,000 must be reported. Any amount of money that is suspected to be ill gotten gains may be seized. In the scenarios mentioned, it's usually an amount over $10,000. This law was in effect way before 9/11.

If your money is seized, you have several months to prove that you earned that money legally. It's really not that fucking hard. If they took 10 grand from you, prove that you have a job paying 50 grand a year or you just made a legal transaction that resulted in the money, like selling your house.

The law my be abused in the south, but I have never seen anyone even attempt to get the money back which tells me that most who got their money took, deserved it.

The police can seize your money if they BELIEVE its of drug origin. If you have proof that its not and hire a lawyer you will get your money back no if's ands or butts about it.

When that officer seizes your money and they didn't find drugs in your possession now its up to you to prove that the money is legit. 2. during the day i carry sums of cash from time to time, but at the same time, if someon was to pull me over, i have a folder that i take most places which include my tax info, articles of incorp. and a bank statement so it's clear as day why i have cash.

It's not just that.

Basically, it looks like they are doing what they did back in 1933 when it was illegal for citizens to own gold.

The assumption seems to be all cash belongs in a bank. Since banks are consolidating more and more, they all are becoming more directly controlled by the Federal Reserve.

This means you have to deal with the tyranny of the banks and their fees, charges, limitations, access, and lack of privacy.

Banks, nowadays, are just extensions of the federal government. So, who knows if one day, they decide to call you a terrorist and seize all your money in the bank. Or, the bank decides to keep your money because the economy is too tight or too many people are making withdrawals.

Or, better yet, what if the banks wasted all YOUR money on bad investments.

The goal of this police BS is to give the banks complete control of the monetary supply of the country, and by extension, the Federal Reserve.

Only a cop or cop-mentality can defend this BS because it's all about maintaining the status quo.

The rich are always rich and the poor are always poor.
