You recently had a leak coming from your bathroom wall and wanted to check on your neighbor and inform her in the event the water was coming into her apartment.

You went downstairs to Linda's apartment around 7:30 AM, and explained to her the problem and luckily the water had not entered her place.

Whew! Just to make sure you asked her could you check and she invited you in. As you're checking for wet areas Linda asked you did you like her Disney pajamas?

Before you could answer she asked you have you ever been to "Adventure Land?"

You looked confused until...

Amita was going into her Senior year at Columbia and was scheduled to do a Summer internship at your job. You know how it is being new to a job and not knowing anyone so you tried to befriend her to make her feel more comfortable.

You talked about family, school, personal interests and how she found Harlem fascinating and filled with such rich history and culture and even though she didn't live to far from the area she was reluctant to explore certain places because she wasn't sure if the people would be welcoming.

You told her that you would be more than willing to accompany her to places like "Sylvia's," and the "Red Rooster," which she looked forward to dining at both places (especially the Red Rooster when she found out that Marcus Samuelsson, the owner was originally from Ethiopia).

So, one Saturday evening you and Amita went to "Red Rooster," and she seemed nervous at first probably because she felt people might stare at her because of her attire. You told her not to worry and after about 5-10 minutes she noticed that people were very accepting of her and made her feel at home.

Overall, the evening went well and you made sure that Amita got home safely and you assumed that you would call it a night. However, Amita felt the need to repay your kindness by inviting you into her apartment.

You sat and talked for a good while and watched television and you in spite of Amita having a roommate you noticed that you were alone for most of the time. Around 12:17 AM, Amita got a phone call and her roommate told her that she would probably see her on Monday since she was spending the night at her boyfriend's place.

Amita kind of looked at you and smiled and said that her roommate will be out tonight and that she will be alone tonight.

"Unless of course you want to keep me company?"

Because you live in New York City you have met people from various countries all over the world, but you have never had the pleasure of meeting anyone from Indonesia.

Last Wednesday, you were talking to one of your former coworkers, Renee and she mentioned that she had been in contact with Jennifer Wong, who you considered a good friend, but lost contact with after she left the job. Renee wanted to give you Jennifer's number, but you suggested that you give Jennifer your number and if she wanted to call you she could (Jennifer is married with children).

You didn't think Jennifer would call you, but she called the next day and suggested that you met up for lunch or dinner. In addition, she wanted to know if it was okay if she brought her friend Benihkatak, who she just called "Benih" for short.

Benih worked on her new job and was originally from Jakarta, Indonesia and although she had lived in the city for about a year she was still getting familiar with things here. Jennifer felt you were a nice guy and figured that you would be a nice person for Benih to spend time with.

Of course you were curious as to what Benih looked like and Jennifer texted you a photo.

You assumed that Benih was Muslim, but Jennifer explained that she wasn't but preferred to dress very conservative because that was how she was raised.

So, on Friday the 3 of you met up and went to "Shake Shack" for an early dinner and then you suggested that you go see the movie "Sinners." Jennifer wanted to see the movie, but then reality set in and she realized that she had to go home and attend to her children and husband as well.

That left the two of you and Benih wanted to see the movie because she had heard so much about it on television and read various articles online.

Benih really enjoyed the movie and had so many questions and you were just hoping that you could provide some answers, nevertheless, she was really engaged in the conversation and grabbed you by the arm and said:

"I'm taking you home with me so that you can keep teaching me about this."

You laughed as you walked and talked and asked Benih were did she live?
Benih: "Rochdale Village"

You took a deep breath because you realized that was about a 90 minutes to maybe close to an hour and 45 minute trip, and you're not comfortable letting Benih go home by herself. So you hailed a taxi cab (yeah, it's going to cost you a bit, but at least you'll know that she's getting home safely, and you can have the cab driver take you back to the train station and make your way home from there).

You're still talking as you're heading to Benih's place and she's enjoying the conversation and even placed her head on your shoulder and tells you that it's rare that she goes out on a date with guys. Usually, it's just her and Jennifer or some of the other girls going out in a group, but the guys at work tend to "shy away" from her.

Now, you're finally at her place and she invites you in and suggest you relax a bit. Meanwhile, she still wants to talk about why the guys at work and guys in general seem to avoid her.

So, you told her that maybe they assume you're that your religion might prevent you from "having fun" without being married?

Benih: "What do you mean by 'having fun?'
You: Well...
Benih: "I know what you're talking about, and they wouldn't know unless they conversed with me"

Benih paused and looked at you and then said:

"What would you do if I seduced you like Mary did Stack?"
