Damn HP dropped the TP to $99 dollars

Think he was referring to the lack of camera on the back. It has a camera on the front. I also received an offer of $250 going once, going twice! lol

That's cool let dude get it...I was thinking about paying somebody on CL $250 for the 32gb...but I don't really want 32gb especially @ $250...i'M ABOUT TO CALL IT QUITS ON THIS JOINT IF i DON'T GET A 16GB BY NEXT WEEK...I DIDN'T MEAN TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS...I ACCIDENTLY HIT CAPS LOCK AND TOO LAZY TO TYPE ALL THIS SHIT OVER AGAIN

Yea, that's what I meant.

Hey Dray I know you an iPad head and you go hard on competing tablets...what are some +/- when comparing the Touchpad to the iPad? And I not calling you a fanboy or no shit like that...I know you have a lot of experience w/ the iPad so wondering your thoughts on this and is it worth me chasing this shit for almost a damn month now

i think if you already own a tablet that can do everything the touchpad can do and more (which is most tablets on the market now), then there is no need to cop one. But if you want to get it for someone as a gift who wont utilize it as much as a tech person would, then go for it. Or even if you want to get it just to experiment on (dual booting).

The iPad can't do flash...so that is my main fascination w/ getting a cheap tablet that can do that...I still curious to hear what Dray has to say tho

^^^This. i gave one to my mom as a gift. i am waiting on that dual boot for mine. i like WebOS take on multitasking and closing apps.

A lot of retail outlets are making a killing off the Touchpad by bundling the device with other items/services.

Hustle Hard!

:lol::lol::lol:

to everyone that ordered from the HP small business site. There is good news, I received one of the two tablets I ordered. Hopefully the other one is still coming.

never tried web os doctor.....you really shouldn't need it unless the touchpad doesn't boot up or something else more catastrophic happens

yes, you should install preware and webos doctor. It gives you access to free apps and patches. Called homebrew.

Is it impossible to get one for $100 now ?

Pretty much...if you lucky you can cop 1 on CL for $150-$200...supposedly on 9/28 HP will have a sale for employees only...and the new batch of 100-200K is expected around Oct./Nov. but a lot of those will go to fulfilling unfulfilled orders

I had to use WebOS Doctor bacause it wouldn't update OTA. After that i didn't have to touch it.

Anybody who ordered through Onsale.com (via Amazon.com) and had their order canceled might have another chance. Onsale.com is giving people another chance to get their touchpads.
