I think it was important that he single out the black woman, because blacks as a people have to clean up their own house. I do agree with his points about how the black woman beats down on the black man in America. It is almost as if the black woman works for the crackas that try to oppress the black man.

You can't go to any other country in the world with blacks and see how the black woman subjects the black man to the type of abuse that black American women subject their black men to.

And with other races in America you never see the woman subject the man to so much abuse. I am not a chauvinist in any respect, but as far as leadership goes and expectations I think that the responsibility that women put on men in general automatically mean they deserve the respect of a leader in a family.

I can explain my point much more eloquently but I would rather take issue with responses to readers.

I think you have some good points. However, I also feel that we as black men have let our sisters down. How many sisters are stuck raising kids with no fathers? My parents divorced when i was young and my moms gave him a choice. Support your kids or not, she didn't like the court system. My dad saw me maybe 4 times and that was bumping into him on the street. She like many black women was forced to try to raise a male child into a strong man. She had to be the head of the household and be the father and mother in our home. This goes on over and over in our communities. If a woman is left alone to take on the dominant role or let her kids suffer, what should she do?

Also, I feel if I were trying to speak to a group of people, I would talk to them instead of trying to degrade and belittle them. Imagine a teacher yelling at your kids instead of teaching them. No disrespect to you guys, I just have a difference of opinion. I feel the black woman held our race down when many of us men were out doing everything but taking care of our business. Now is the time for more of us to become men and take care of our homes. Peace family.

Been to the meetings, read the book, gave it much thought. The difference is that I was heavily into metaphysical understanding before the internet. The writer of the Metu Neter,Ra UN Nefer Amen, has basically copied Rosicrucian/Kabbalistic teachings and Africianized them.

Is it wrong? No. However, given a choice between orange kool-aid or fresh squeezed orange juice, I would prefer the latter.

Race BAsed spirituality is not truly spiritual at all. Look at the results of the previous attempts. Informative? Yes. Effective? Debatable.

Anything that becomes too popular is usually mass produced for mass thinking for massa control.

The same goes with most of the new age thinking that exists amongst other racial groups. What better way to prepare the world for a Chineese/Indian domination than to use their religions for pacification/massafication?

With all due respect Rosicrucian and Kabbalistical teachings are pre-dated by African cosmologics by thousands of years. So you got this twisted Atef - Rosicrucians and so called "Jews" adopted the spiritual science of the African. ;)

MAybe so.

The truths have no real racial identity.

If it is valuable for upliftment it will work for whomever applies it.

I've just seen a few too many reworked ideas to fall in love with them.

The information that is relied upon is someone elses work. I would guess you haven't been to Africa to dig up monuments. This would mean you are taking someone elses word for it.

I haven't been to Africa to dig for sure. Therefore I am left with one idea about everything.

DOES IT WORK IN THE WAY IT IS CLAIMED TO WORK?

The "truth" has "racial identity" right up to the moment it is clear that Black people have given that truth to the world...at which point it immediately ceases to have any identity. You hear this from those who claim the character Jesus is white until confronted with the facts when they then say "does it really matter what color Jesus was" SMH

"Someone else's work".....???Why do you continue to assert this? Yes the cosmological systems of Africa are a science. If you would have stayed for a few more classes you would perhaps understand that it isn't necessary for anyone to "go dig up monuments"....nor is it necessary for you to "take someone else word for it".

Okay,

I'll go with that.

Explain what I "missed" out on

What has it done to improve your life in particular?

What you missed out on is the understanding that there is more to reality then the physical plane which you are now conscious of. That the gift of African people to the world is the science of how to transfer conscious into those planes and insperience them. That spiritual life is eternal in those planes and that the essential qualities of Man and Woman is divine i.e. we share qualitatively in the Omnipotence, Omnipresence, and Omniscience of God.

You could see clearly here that your beliefs about "digging" and "taking someone else's word" are erroneous.

If making it black works for you then stick with it. I don't knock that.

However, if you are basically trying to re-color allegorical bible stories, you will find those ideas hit a wall at some point.

I have Nigerien friends that are all black yet get tribal and hate other blacks from the same country. Most Jamacians don't like black Americians. Some darker skinned black dislike lighter skinned blacks. They all preach the "Mother Africa" talk yet practice seperation. How effective has Pan Africanism been if these are the results?

The very story of Jesus is allegorical. To place an identity on allegory is useful to some degree yet will not deliver improved power. It would be the same as making the Wizard of Oz a black man because the story was based on Africian teachings.

Have black people been discredited? Of Course.

Africian awareness opens the mind to new ways of viewing things in a Euro-Centric world. It gives confidence.

It's where to go from there that is the question.

I have seen too many people wearing Dashikis at the weekend meeting and going back to work for the same white man to certify African Awareness effectivness.

In the spiritual life there is no black and white, nor male/female. There are only different levels of vibration, varying aspects, spectrums, sounds, and functions.

You speak a lot of truth however there is a lot more to it.

I haven't gone there yet because you remain in a "black & white" physical world.

I am very sure you will not really see what I am saying because you are too caught up in needing things to be Africian to be relevant.

I could side with your statements just as quickly. I have spent time in the Moorish Science Temple as well.

I have just seen what you are talking about degrade into more inter-race racism.

Yo, what the fuck did i just watch? This clowns are in the middle of downtown philly quoting bible scriptures and cussing at people walking down the street. Clearly, the purpose for this was to stir up trouble. Some people are just too worried about changing people and how they live their lives instead of looking in the mirror everyday.
And the muffukkas that were out there trying to argue wit these fools are just as ignorant. Sad to say, but sometimes i hate my black people! This shit was a bunch of hot ass

Hopefully that was filmed on a weekend, because every brotha on there was dressed like a fucking clown and expecting respect... Yes I said it.. Black men forever want respect yet:

WE are the ones dropping out of school
WE are the ones not going to college
WE are the ones who adopted the thug life
WE are the ones who chose to dress and look like hoods
WE are the ones who glorify the PIMP life
WE are the ones who openly and verbally abuse and disrespect our women
WE are the ones who are robbing, jacking, abusing, and murdering our own kind
WE are the ones filling up the Jail system to maximum capacity
We are the ones on TV every night caught doing stupid shit
WE are the ones messing up then asking the Black community to help us find justice
WE are the ones who don't know how to say a complete sentence in public with out cursing
WE are the ones with our pants down to our ass and saying it's a cultural statement
We are the ones walking around with BLACK lips, RED eyes, and ASHY as hell from smoking dope and still think we look good
WE are the ones who are 20 - 30 or 40+ with corn rows in our head talking about I can't find a job
We are the ones who will not take a real/legal job unless we start at the top even if we don't have any relative skills or experience to offer

WE are the ones who gave up on ourselves...and now expect RESPECT from our Black women? Black Man PLEASE!!!

When we get our "stuff" together the World will respect us and Black women will be the first to say..."I knew it was there all along!
Truth be told, Black women WANT to respect Black Men more than any one in the world.

We have been "distracted" with non-productive activities for long enough... It is time to reclaim our education, our creativity, our careers,
our women (not ownership), our families, our communities, and our future. It's time to re-claim our rightful position in society...
It is time to reclaim and earn the respect our greatest forefathers hoped for....died for and beleived we deserved.

It's time to reclaim the real Black Man... Whoever you (individual Black Man) choose him to be...

And then she just rolled her eyes. he told her "If the shoe fit, then walk a mile in that muhfucka!" And then he started walkin round the shop like a duck. Everybody started laughin and she got mad and left like "I ain't come in here to be treated like this."

After reading this I know that this statement does not apply to me.

Glad to hear...None Directly applies to me either... But the perception effects all Black men and as a Black Man I placed myself in the "perceived" position as no man is an island...

There are many very positive Black men who fit none of the stereotypical perceptions, but as our school drop out rates increase, and the prison system topples with majority Black men, we collectively must recognize there is a cancer in our "Black Man" community and we must first recognize it and then find the multiple treatments to cure it...

I have family who sit from the Jail House to the Courthouse (Lawyer and Judge)... The Boiler Room to the Board Room... Poor to Rich... All are my Brotha's and some of "US" need a serious change...

Black men are some of the most intelligent and creative men on the planet... I think we owe it to ourselves to let that be closer to representing who we are, verses what is depicted in the global media...

What makes you think "It hasn't worked"? It worked for our ancestors who created civilizations which tower over those existing in so-called "modern" times and it works for any one of us who studies and practices this science today.

I understand that Jesus is allegorical I only used that as an example. I'm not caught up in "things needing to be African" what I am caught up in is the truth. It only becomes necessary to ascert the truth of these matters because they are deliberately obfuscated by racists who through their treachery have deliberately destroyed our culture and have us living like animals all over this earth. What many have been made to believe is that it is in the nature of the Black man and woman to live the way you see us so often portrayed in amerikkka or even in Africa. Sadly even some of us believe this of ourselves. SO when you mistate facts by claiming that Ra Un Nefer Amen "merely Africanized" the teachings of whites this perpetuates confusion, lies and backwardness. This cannot therefore be explained away by claiming "spirituality is neither black nor white". what you claim here is debatable but what is unequivical is that spirituality must be based on TRUTH.

That woman shoulda BEEN took her child home.

I'm not a fan of the approach but they do make a few valid points amidst the noise. He set the sun on that family who he was telling to bring the father.

Overall it came off as hate for black women though. These dudes mindset is no better than the Taliban at the end of the day.

As men and leaders it is on us to choose our women wisely rather than impregnating those who are 'ho's. Women you wouldn't spend quality time around in the first place and then be shocked and mad when the kid ain't being raised right.
