Of course. They made ALL these rules and regulations to benefit them in the long run. We're the only ones who think they are DEAD broke. They just playing the game.
Still $15M!!! I... I... I... just can't imagine where their careers generated so much income to get into that much debt.
After a little research it seems she "only" makes about $20K per episode from her Dr. Ken show. Which ain't bad for me... but Hollywood?

Agreed. Thing that pisses me off is you've got mad people making it work in life earning modest incomes, and living within their means. Other people struggling in various parts of the world. Then you've got celebs with their questionable "bankruptcies". Shit's a slap in the face to people living in legit poverty, or harsh conditions. I.E. - single parents working 2 - 3 jobs to make ends meet for their children. People bustin' their asses to try and dig themselves a better life.

True, but they dont have to live in the PJ's at all, not all actors live in hollyweird or other outlandish places.I guess no one wants to be a Hollywooder but live in the projects and drive a hoopty.

Or have more cars than they actually need etc. They can live nice and comfy and be left alone in some nice
affordable areas, around real hardworking people, such life will help to keep their feet on the ground and live good.

exactly. Fam.Agreed. It's trying to Keep up with the Joneses ... when you can't afford to maintain that lifestyle, despite your past & present strong earnings. Reminds me of an episode of 'Til Debt Do us Part (Canadian show) a number of years back. The host being the one trying to help people understand the mistakes they were making that could lead them to financial ruin, etc. Anyway ... the subject they featured was a young chick with a normal job driving a brand new car probably valued in the 25 - 30,000 range. Modest job and earnings. Had some debt, etc. Her boyfriend at the time was an average dude who was making the correct choices. He was around 27 - 30yo and already owned 2 apartments and sold his car and moved closer to work (so he could walk there). One less expense, etc. The host basically pointing out "Look ... he walks to work & makes himself a meal at home. He owns 2 properties. You're driving a car you can't afford, have a mixture of debt, and are eating out a number of times a week. You see what I'm getting at here?"

If during the 1990's either of them or together they had put $100,000 per year, for a total of $600,000 during that decade into NKE (Nike) and AAPL (Apple); and then NEVER invested another dime - that $600,000 is now worth $28,000,000 ($28 Million) dollars.
$600,000 into $28,000,000
Most likely they have NO stock portfolio; they never even thought about it.
Meanwhile they have highly depreciated cars, jewelry, dogs and some cash in bank accounts earning less than 2% interest.
Lack of knowledge equals bad outcomes.
Retired tennis star Andre Aggasi took mostly stock when he was a celebrity endorser for NIKE instead of cash.
His net worth continues to grow.
Shit, in NYC that's a nice joint income.
