Big Ben won his 2 super bowls thanks to defense but no one says that. Elway didn't win shit til he got a defense and the best RB in the league, no one discounts him tho. Brady's first 3 chips he was a game manager with a top 5 defense, this last one Pats were top 10, but no one says "aww he just rode his defense" like they do Cam, Kaep, & Russell Wilson. By the way, Trent Dilfer didn't even start the year the Ravens won the Super Bowl, he became starter midway thru the year yet Ive seen people compare Cam THIS YEAR to him and say he's ONLY winning because of defense. Its bullshit.

They been saying for years they don't think Big Ben is elite. I'm from Ohio, so I remember Elway's work. He was an elite QB. Tom became a story because of how he took over. He then backed that shit up through his body of work. Cam is in the Big Ben category(as of now). So is Russ. Sorry. It's just the truth. Big Ben doesn't get the push. Those two don't either. It's fucking 2015 and the Steelers look like absolute shit without Ben(even with talent), and he still isn't considered elite. Shit, much like Russ, Ben never got the MVP in the Super Bowl either.

I don't think Big Ben really gets a lot of credit. I think he's under-rated, but he also has hella weapons NOW.
Carolina has to make another offseason move. Make the move to get another good WR for Cam along with Kelvin coming back. Then, he'll be able to be more effective. He's working miracles with the group he has back there now.
You are rarely winning a SB without a top 5 defense. Brady has always had one (even though he's been clutch for the most part). Broncos both had a top running game and defense when he finally won back to back. Flacco had one but he did absolutely catch fire during the playoffs. He got lucky enough to play the best he's EVER played during that run. Eli is another streaky guy...played well in conjunction with a dominant defensive line.
The only muthafucka that really went buck wild in the playoffs (especially the super bowl) was Joe Montana.
