I'm sick and tired of People acting like Dominicans, puerto ricans, cubans is a RACE !!!! In order to explain this, you have to go back during slavery. Slaves weren't just shipped to American. People forget that slaves was shipped all around the world. Places like the West Indies, Europe, and etc. All islands in the Caribbeans at some point were, and a few still are, colonies of European nations; a few are overseas or dependent territories: People also forget that the first slaves in America weren't black, they were indians(Native Americans). The indians slaves from America was shipped to the Caribbean islands. That's why we have Danish west indies, dutch west indies, french west indies, spanish west indies and the swedish west indies. But they started to die off and couldn't handle the stress of labor. So what did they do, they went to Africa and shipped them to the same places. Ok we all know this, so what right? But what people dont know is that the master was breeding the Africans with the indians to make more slaves. And then he couldn't help himself and started to fuck his slaves(house nigga). so hispanics are nothing but a mixed race of BLACK, WHITE, AND INIDIANs. So if you are a black man from puerto rico, it doesn't mean that you not black. It just means that you are a black man that was born in puerto rico. And the same for all the other countries.

Speak on brotha, I have cursed out many Latin hating West Indians and American Blacks over the years that don't realize that the only difference between the "races" is that one is mixed Spaniard and the other with Anglo Europeans. Not all people in those cultures think that way bruh. My father was born in PR, speaks English with an accent and he always taught me that before I was American or Rican I am a Black Man. And I know alot of people from the islands think that way. Of course the white media is only going to show you what is beneficial to them. And us being seperate from each other is VERY beneficial to him. Don't get it twisted tho, there are alot of American blacks who think the same way. I mean Latinos didn't invent brown bagging. It would be accurate to say, "I'm not African-American, I'm Dominican".

It would be like telling a white guy from France living in Germany "you're German" and then having that guy say "No, I'm French". You may be german or french, but you both can be white/caucasian and both are definitely part of the human race.

White people seem to understand that white is a general term that applies to many different nationalities. A lot of blacks for some reason seem to think that only African-Americans are black.
