Damn, Bill Maher got that Covid!

I've had Covid already. I wonder if I should even bother getting vaccinated.
Hell yeah you should, especially after already having it.
That asshole coworker of mine
said that since he's had it
already, he doesn't need the
vaccine but people who've had
Covid are getting it again!
Yall better roll up that sleeve! :smh:

If the purpose of being vaccinated is to introduce your body to a protein on the virus to facilitate future production of antibodies.....

‘What better way to introduce your body to the virus than getting the virus.

Remember, this vax doesn’t prevent you from catching the virus it only gives u a head start in fighting it if u do get it.

Something tells me people gonna be vaxxed at least twice a year.

No way you should need vax if you previously had COVID.

They need to change the name, this is more of a treatment than a vax. Ie flu shot, not flu vax

Carry on....

Its called the influenza vaccine, people just call it a flu shot for short.

Every 6 months is where I'm betting...brah

What is the government trying to do then?
The givernment saying its okay to not wear a mask inpublic under certain conditions and obviously its nkt if you can still catch covid aeven after being vaccinated. I nust feel they don't have all the answers. I cant take that chance im high risk. J. Diabetic and i have a heart condition.

I stand corrected on the influenza.

However neither are traditional vaccines because they do not provide immunity.

Hence the whole herd immunity thing is out the window..

Carry on.....

It's an RNA virus like the flu so it mutates. People will need new vaccines each year, just like the flu. Possibly more often since immunity doesn't seem to last. Given time, I believe companies will come up with better vaccines.

Yeah-- in very rare cases you can still get it but it still greatly reduces the chance of real sickness or worse.

That’s the misinformation.

I haven’t read anything that says your less likely to catch the virus after being vaxxed.

Your just less likely to have symptoms severe enough for you to be hospitalized.

Or severe symptoms at all..

Carry on......

If you have it you are less likely to pass it on because you will kill it much faster with the vaccine.

This is an MRna vax....it doesn't contain any proteins or portions of COVID in it, AT ALL.

What these vaccines do is they program your body into producing a (relatively) small number of Corona cells..... your immune system then kicks in and fights the foreign cells....

Corona Viruses have spiked shaped cells (in a Corona), they're very difficult to penetrate and vastly different than most other viruses our immune systems come into contact with.

However since you are healthy your immune system should have all the time and resources (read energy) it needs to fight the foreign cells off and keep you healthy.

So if you do actually get Covid, the invading virus is not so new amd your immune system should know how to overcome it, vis a vis you don't get as sick and you should be fine.

On the other hand without this Vax, your body will experience all the systems and your immune system will be fighting all of those in addition to trying to overcome this brand new virus. With limited energy because you will be too sick to eat normally or to even allow your digestive system to operate normally to help you.
