there are sitcoms ... dramas and reality shows on TV ... that have these kind of characters as the stars of the show ...

for instance .. they'll have a cop ...who's the baddest, toughest cop on the streets ... all the criminals fear him ...

then he comes home ... and let's his wife yell at him ...boss him around ... threaten him ... give him ultimatums ...and he's essentially terrified to stand up to her ...

and even when he has a good point in an argument ... somehow he winds up apologizin' to his wife for his actions...and the wife can never jus accept the apology ... she has to end the argument by makin' some snide comment ...

and if he has kids ..they don't respect him ...

i don't mind a show with a little give and take... but to let the wife run all over the husband ..every episode.. and if the man stands up for himself..then the wife wants to get divorced ...i don't find that entertainin' at all...
