If envy had own his brand like Joe buddens, gilliie the kid, Camron, nore maybe he wouldn't be running scams with Pena. All them nigs I mentioned came out with their podcast after dame interview with envy and all generated millions in less time going the independent route. So technically dame was right about creating your own brand especially being that envy and them already had a strong following. They could of bought mics, chairs, rented out a room /office space/ rental Hall and did the same thing but they didn't and well he hollered at Pena about them invisible properties for rent

True, but my argument still stands. Dame entire existence at this point is living off the brief fame of Rocafella and being the guy that put future Billionaire Jay Z on the map. After Jay Z moved on and up, Dame has not to been able to replicate that success on any level with any of his post Rocafella endeavors. Not to mention, dude seems to be struggling financially because his ego is much bigger than his wallet.

Dame is the equivalent of that dude Rudy. The guy had a tackle as a Notre Dame walk on, when Notre Dame was considered a powerhouse (or at least a sports media darling) . Dude made an entire career out of that one event, very similar to Dame and his long severed connection to Jay Z.

To be clear bosses can be open to partnerships, look at Jay Z and the NFL for example. However real bosses will do their homework before partnering up with anybody. Envy was destined to loose regardless because he's not willing to do the necessary homework before jumping in.

Dame made a lot of historic moves as a Music Exec. To the point where you can't mention Hip Hop with out mentioning Roca-fella. A label he was a FOUNDER of. You think Jay-z was going to meetings with labels answering calls from promoters? No Dame was. Signing Kayne West, Dipset, Beanie Siegal. To minimize his contribution to hip hop from the business side is either willful blindness or pure hate.

And through all his success Dame has never been a coon he has never sold out any brother that I can recall. All his artists including Jay-z have nothing bad to say about him. Every single other label exec on his level has beef with artists he doesn't. He empowered his artist. He was never a vulture like Puff, P, Baby, Suge ....

For us to hate on someone with the love of black people that Dame has is ridiculous.
 
So he is bragging about leaving all the financial responsibility of taking care of his children to his ex?

True, but in Envy's case, a simple records search would have revealed what his partner actually owned or in this case didn't.

In a news story about Envy's partner, they did the real work after they got took for 200,000 and discovered after the fact, dude wasn't buying shit.

I haven't said anything bad about dame outside of his boss hustle.

As for the rest, why does Jay Z or any of his signed acts need to say anything when Dame is more than happy to talk about how him and those acts have had issues over the years?

You don't find it strange that none of the people that he has brought up are still working with him on any level? Dude should be considered a master arsonsist for his skills at burning bridges. If you argue that we don't know what's going on in private between these people, you're right. However, since he's claiming to be proud broke, I'm willing to believe his ego wont let him accept any help from folks that worked under him at some point.

Real bosses learn from the mistakes and become better bosses. They know when they have to check their ego.
