What were they supposed to do? They work for that organization just like any other W-2 employee. 
Why be disappointed in the team? Be disappointed with the owners that made them do it.
How is it that teams get shit about stuff outside of playing, players get shit but the owners, who by far make the most money and do the least, never seem to get criticized?
