I saw it yesterday. It's definitely an action flick. The tried to change up the Rock's F&F character, make him a bit more human instead of a hothead. Idris is that dude! I want his bike.

I like my action like mission impossible, bond, wick, the raid, etc@therealjondoe
The true allure of this franchise and now spin offs is EXACTLY why you don't like it...
Cars guns explosions violence times 100?
Is an INTERNATIONAL language
F&F is just a giant saturday morning cartoon brought to life.
This is the old NBC friday night line up on the big screen with a big budget
Remember that @slam @tallblacknyc @godofwine ?
They already did A team and Knight Rider
Next up?
Manimal
I dug it, pretty standard action flick but still entertaining, also some of the guest cameos caught me off guard. A solid 3 stars (***) from me. I project 700-800 million as well don't sleep on FF overseas rep.
Double review
Once Upon A Time in Hollywood was just okay. Solid acting from the leads but a really pointless film. All I could do was ask myself why re-write history? Silly ass ending as well two stars (**).

Fast and furious just comes off as corny to me.
You aren't the only one
You aren't the only one
Looks corny
You may like it more than I did but I just wasn't feeling it. Just like his other movie with Brad Pitt "Inglorious Basterds" started off strong but ended up falling flat. Those to me are two of QT's worst films. Some good acting wasted on a paper thin script, I think the movie overall was just about capturing "The Scene" or reliving Hollywood circa 1969.Damn...
I can't lie I'm a big Tarintino fan
And even non fans have been hyping this movie like crazy!
I want to see hobbs FIRST
Cause i really like to concentrate on QT flicks

Idk how but the movie was boring.
I fell asleep two times on the movie.
Im gonna download the BGOL version try watching it again.
All these action movies are becoming stale. Typical action sequences super predictable plot lines. Corny frenemy buddy dialogue and the female lead sexual innuendos sprinkled in for good measure.
Well that's when the movie died for me, everybody got wacked before you got to know who they were, Shoshana's story just bored me.Yeah
I understand he been having that issue.
He can't close anymore.
I liked Basterds cause that nazi restaurant scene, and the "anne frank" scene were cinematic masterpieces.

Yeah it looks over the top too.I think it will be fine.
I know a few people who saw it almost 2 weeks ago..
Only complaint was it was ALOT OF ACTION.
If possible...
Maybe too much
Overwhelmingly
Agreed loved Jackie Brown. I hated it when it first dropped then I gave it another shot on dvd years later and fell in love with it. I guess my more mature sensibilities kicked in, it definitely was a "grown folks" movie.I can't really defend that.
But then again after pulp fiction?
I'm in the minority
I think jackie brown is his best flick
I heard this film had absolutely no plot whatsoeverDouble review

Mario Van Peebles said there are 4 stages in Hollywood:Sidebar...
I kinda agree The Rock gotta chill
But if you keep making hits and the checks keep getting bigger and you garnering more power and influence?
How the hell you gonna tell this man to chill?
This is an ice cold game...
You gotta go while you got it
Cause any second?
It could be gone.
Imagine if he waited on DC to make Black Adam?
Wow..
I am legit shocked by this.
When that trailer originally dropped people were ready to pre order tix!!
I myself thought they were about shoot nitrous into the entire franchise
Maybe @therealjondoe is right
Too much can just be too much
No matter the movie

Who is Mario
Get me Mario
Get me Mario
Who is Mario
The movie was a waste of my time. Shaw and Hobbs did what it was supposed to do.

Good pointsBut i like that they aint LIED...
You knew EXACTLY what you were getting 3 seconds in the trailer
How you mad when they delivered EXACTLY what the promised.
I aint never order a tub of popcorn and told the theatre well damn..
Thats just TOO MUCH popcorn!!!!
Take some back immediately!!!
They BETTER over deliver,
This is not the mr. Rogers documentary
This is fast freaking furious!
Yeah it looks over the top too.
Could be Rock fatigue. Every time you look he's on TV shows news, HBO series and movies.
To an extent they did Miami Vice too..This is the old NBC friday night line up on the big screen with a big budget

I cannot blame him.
