How are small companies using the images of anyone, say Bob Marley, on a cell phone wallpaper, and getting around any licensing issues, or infringment?

Anyone know?

it's just that noone's really pressing the point. One of my big cash flows in the stores is nextel ringtones. I'll turn any song, any part of the song into a ringtone. same with wallpapers.

Ha.

I expected as much, with the wallpaper shit being so popular in the UK, and Europe etc.

Thanks for your response.

I'm just guessing but I agree with da don. Nobody is pressing it. Shit you could make $1 per ringtone which takes seconds. I use to do that and wallpapers all day. I think it's more of a risk online.
