Da Bulls will get to the Eastern conference finals and maybe...

Missed buckets, free throws and turnovers i aint blaming the refs on those situations.

Yep. It looked like one of their typical games when they play without focus or energy. The good thing is they were still in the game with about 5 or 6 minutes left. I felt if they split in Chi they'd win in 6. I think they're alergic to making things easier for themselves when given the chance. I wouldn't be surprised if they won both games in MIA, tho.

Nah. They were out there bullshittin' and let MIA off the hook in the first half. They were missing everything and still went up by seven. They let the Heat get their confidence up by letting them hang around. Like the last time Tibbs put Booz & Noah on the bench in the fourth, I expect both to have strong games in the next one on Sunday.

Didn't help with the way the refs started calling the game in the 2nd, 4 fouls in a row on the Bulls. Bench came in and the Bulls had momentum at that point, after those fouls it seemed like the whole game change at that point. 8:45 left in the 2nd and the Bulls are in the Penalty....:smh::smh::smh: With that said they still were in the game and once again the 80 million dollar man was a no show.D.Rose will have bad games here and there but he needs some help offensively and Boozer is suppose to supply that. Him and Korver need to hit shots because they are not good defensive players so it's essential that they get off offensively.

Everyone seems to be forgettin that Indiana and Atlanta are not great defensive teams. With less defense you have better scorers. Try consistently creating your own shot against a top 3 defensive team. Key word consistently.

Nothing much to type here...Typical Bulls...play great one night..like shit the next..as I expected. We gotta win one in Miami...if not..then folks better start getting nervous

GO BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Noah reflects on lessons learned in Game 2 loss

http://www.chicagobreakingsports.co...arned-in-game-2-loss-20110520,0,2004430.story
"Learned that we definitely could have played a lot better,'' Noah said following Friday's practice. "Lot of mental mistakes on defense.

"We didn't play our best basketball, but we were still in position to win the ball game."

It was 73-73 with 7 minutes, 16 seconds left in regulation but the Bulls ended up losing 85-75.
Only 2 more points scored during the remaining 7:16 left in the 4th :puke:

Could've won Gm2, should've won, but didn't win. :hmm:

I was hoping they got this game since they blew game two, but Miami made us pay. It's over. As much as I hate it, this will teach them to put teams away when you have the chance. They gave them confidence after game two and it's been tough ever since. Hopefully they will learn from it.

Congrats to the Heat. I can't believe we blew this game. I was hoping they could take it back to Miami. We had a good season but we're gonna have to address some issues in the off season. Props to the Bulls on a great season.

This thread has already become a reality...so why the bump?

youve been here since Nov 2010 and got no more than 30 post..but you choose to come in here and reply.

Pls go do what youve been doing over the year....lurkin/downloading and beat'n off and sitting on your thumbs......sissy.

GO BULLS!!!!!!!!

I don't even pay attention to 90+% of these kats. One of the reasons it's not worth posting in the game threads on here. Bulls had a great season and have to concentrate on getting a 2 guard.

I want to keep the post positive but i'll rant on Thibbs later. :smh:

I do not see them getting past the second round.

Bulls come out of one of the deepest free agent markets with nothing.

Noah is not a center but a power forward playing center.Bulls go out and pick up another power forward in Boozer.

Korver led the league in 3 pt percentage but averaged 7 ppg.

Bulls won't get out the 2nd if they make it that far.

Wake me up when they get a 2 guard. You're not a real contender with JJ Redick at the 2. I think Magic re-sign Redick.

What's this second round bullshit. these fucks will not make the playoffs and i'm from chicago. Sorry fucke still trying to hang on to deng, gave up kirk for NOTHING lost gordan last year got NOTHING. And you got a new coach and didn't get shit from the free agent market but boozer and u nigga's think they can make a push. they are in the same shape as cleveland.

And chicago fans are so use to mediocrity that they think rose and noah are the truth fuck outta here! anothe losing season for another chicago teams. You can line thses pussies up right behind the bears and cubs.

you would be better off watching the fucking fire this year.
and real talk i'm not sure if these fuck could hales high school team.:hmm::hmm:

They gone be softer than cotton candy in the middle. Teams will stay making highlight dunks/game winning shots on them.

I'm tired of this shit noah is a garabage man, boozer never won shyt and rose is too retarded to ever win a title. stop overating these bums.

i could see the Bulls in top 4-5 in the east. They have a chance.

Tank for Brandon mcknight

Clearly The East is either Orlando and Boston........Everyone else is chasing those two in the east.

Now that being said I really think the Bulls got Really good team......Did they improve enough to beat Orlando and Boston.....I think they closed the Gap but just not enough to make the East finals

1. Boozer is a good pickup but aint enough
2. noah is undersized but he hustles
3. Still dont have a shooters yet worst shooting team in the league that why they had so many rebounds.

Boozer good pickup however

I see Chicago as 3rd or 4th in the east....Chicago is better than Atlanta and Mil bucks....Behind them charlotte and philly

East next year
1. Orlando
2. Miami
3. Boston
4. Chicago
5. Mil Bucks
6. Atlanta
7. Philly
8. Charlotte

I see Orlando vs Miami for East Finals

U didnt watch the ECF last year did u???? Orlando at best is gonna be 3rd the the Eastern Conference.

1.Miami/Boston
2.Miami/Boston
3.Orlando
4.Chicago
5.Milwaukee
6.Atlanta
7.Charlotte
8.New York

So are you seriously thinking that the bulls will win 60-63 games ??? That means they'll have the best record in the NBA. A dominant Cavalier team only managed to win 61 games, lakers won 57 games. So we are supposed to believe that this bulls teams is soo stacked to win 60-63 games ?? yet they have kyle korver as a starter and a rookie head coach.. GTFOH

50-55 wins with a Rookie head coach ?? He's a defensive specialist, offense is not his strong points.. This might turn into a Mike brown experiment minus lebron.. :smh::smh: I can bet you the bucks will have a better record than the bulls though..

The Bulls Ain't Winning nothing! 1st of all they have no coach, they have no bench, and they have a owner that's cheap as hell. Michael jordan had to threaten to retire in order to get paid. They told Scottie to trust them knowing all the time the owners were going to put in a rule that you can't renegociate an existing contract! They did'n wanna even pay Phil Jackson, that's why he's on the lakers. If you think getting an overpaid allways hurt Boozer is the answer you're sadley mistaken. They will have a worst record than they had last year!!

As proven on the court, the Miami heat was the better team and beat the Bulls! This lose is gut-wrenching. All of the clowning is fair! I understand especially since I made such a bold prediction!

A lot people feel as though I don't know shit about basketball. That is really easy to say now that the Bulls are eliminated but let's not forget that I called that the Bulls will get to the ECF back in July! I even called it down to the number of games that they'll win!

As I said, feel free to clown away but just know that a lot of you guys that are clowning said that the Bulls would finish 4th or 5th in the east! Some people even said that the Bulls would finish lower than that and even miss the playoffs!

http://www.bgol.us/board/showthread....t=bulls+finals

I made every post based on what I saw in the off-season and what I saw on the court. I will do so again in the future as well. We'll see Miami in the future.

Again, clown me if you choose to but the Bulls are in a great position as an organization and we will get over the top one day soon! And when we do, I'll be here making great basketball observations!

Congrats Miami!

I'm still a little shocked, but I'm still proud of our team. We had an incredible season. We went further in the playoffs than the Lakers, the Celtics, the Spurs, etc. We just didn't have all the pieces we needed this year to go further. And hopefully we'll get some this offseason.

I'm already ready to talk about what moves we could make next season. What moves do ya'll want to see?

I give props to Miami, but the Bulls lost this series by losing game two. It hurt to see them work all season to get home court to then turn it over playing with a lack of focus and energy. They have given teams confidence all playoffs and did it with the wrong team this time.

Outside of game one they really didn't give themselves a chance in this series. Thibbs didn't help either. I stand by what i've been saying all season that he is a garbage coach offensively. He is too stubborn, also. I give him credit defensively, tho.

Like you, after realizing the season is over, i'm just looking forward to off-season moves. They are in good position to be able to correct their shooting guard problem.

I've always been a fan of Boozer, but his confidence seems too fragile. I still think he's an asset, but not the number two we were expecting.

I hope we don't dump our guards. I like CJ backing up Rose. Also, Bogans & Brewer are good defensively so i'm interested in seeing how they're going to play it. Those kats (Deng included) held Wade & Lebron relatively in check. Bosh was solid, and Miller & Haslem came up big in a game or two.

Our lack of shooting KILLED us in this series. Although I like our guards in some areas, we need shooting and also better ball handlers.

Good looks.

So Bulls fam

With the lineup we currently have, the ECF is our ceiling. We can get better and we will get better.

Soooo, where do we go from here? What moves do you want to see made to make this team stronger than Miami? Do we draft a shooter? Do we go after Dwight given that the Lakers are looking a bit less attractive than before? There's speculation that the Bulls may be planning for draft day. If the NBA cap doesn't become ridiculous, Reinsdorf could possibly go into Steinbrunner mode to get another ring. We'll see.
Besides, he's already gotten a ring with the Sox.

- "Yeah, I feel you Niggas. I didn't feel like reading the thread title either."

Some scenarios.

Give Rasaul Butler a chance to make the team next year. He should have been backing up Deng at SF. Deng played too many minutes which helped Lebron in the fourth.

Forget about Dwight that may be next to impossible:smh:. If the Bulls did try they would have to package Noah, with either Deng or Gibson, and 2 first round picks. Another scenario is signing free agent center DeAndre Jordan then trading Noah for a solid shooting guard.

Explore picking up(in this order) JR Smith, Ray Allen, Stephen Jackson, Rip Hamilton or Jamal Crawford. I like Brewer as a backup for any of these guys.

As far as Boozer is concerned 'the Bulls dun goofed' signing him:angry:. So we stuck with him in Chicago:smh:.

jerry-sloan-retire-620.jpg

For starters, I really want GarPaxDorf to go hard after former Jazz asst coach Phil Johnson, who provides both offensive as well as additional defensive schemes for Thibs to apply with his own.

As for the vacant SG spot, I'd look at J-Richardson. I'd say Ray Allen, but I don't think he wants to leave Boston. But the SG I REALLY want is Derron Williams. (Leave me alone Kadafi, lol!). JR Smith is a big time risk as well as Crawford who are shot jackers. Crawford could potentially become another Korver on this team. Especially if we don't have good offensive coaching. If the Bulls were to make Arron Afflalo or Marcus Thornton an offer that Denver or Sacramento won't care to match, I'd be satisfied. So IMO what needs to happen is:

1)Rose needs to dedicate this summer's training strictly to adding a consistent 3 pt shot to his arsenal. If he does this, I know with Rose's work ethic can become a top 5 3pt shooter by next season.
People can criticize Rose about being the prime scorer all they want. Wasn't he criticized after game 2 for facilitating too much? I think some of it is BS trolling, but I digress.

And 2) Get a consistent scoring SG, not a player who may have some good shooting games, a few really good games later, then when he's really needed the most, suddenly clanks damn near everything he throws up.

From realgm:
Howard is a complete game changer. He actually improves the defense and rebounding, he takes much of the scoring burden off Derrick as he can carry an offense for long stretches and certainly for 3 and a half quarters, he's still younger than LeBron/Wade/Bosh, and Miami wouldn't have an anwer for him. Can't just throw LeBron on Dwight defensively. I'm not holding my breath, but if Dwight does indeed get traded, Gar/Pax must do everything in their power to get him. This isn't a one dimensional scorer like Carmelo Anthony, this is a true game-changer. Anyone but Rose should be on the block for Dwight.

I'd like to see Ray Allen get picked up (since Thibbs would be familiar with him) but Arron Afflalo would give us similar stats for almost 7 million dollars cheaper, and I'd like to see how he'd play with Thibbs' defense.

We gotta lose either Boozer or Noah. I'd rather lose Boozer. Noah hustles more while at times, Boozer seems to just get lazy. Bottom line, they just don't play well at the same time. They could probably get better with time, but I just don't trust Boozer.

I won't hold my breath for Howard, but any deal we can make to get Howard, I'm sure I would be down with it.

No clowning here.....

You called your shot before the season started.....

I like the Bulls...I love teams that hustle and give it their all..

The reason I knew they wouldn't win is because the press has been lying about the Heat all year.

With all the crap they were making up, Miami actually flew under the radar as far as how good of a team they actually are.

In the games Bron "couldn't" finish we had double digit leads that we blew...the confidence was already shot long before the final plays.

A close game or a comeback game is different.

anyway.....

next year the Bulls wont surprise anyone, so they have to make moves ASAP..or else I don't see a repeat of a magical season like this...

Nice going over the games with you in the threads though.

The Bulls had a chance to get Thornton but it's too late now. Thornton's a restricted free agent and the kings will most likely match whatever the Bulls offer.

I think the Bulls are gonna sign J Rich and draft another shooter. Either Marshon Brooks and/or David Lighty.

Well Well Well.

It was a great season for the Bulls. No one expected us to be the number one seed in the NBA and be one round away from making it to the finals. There were many accomplishments and awards given to players and coaches. The team was pretty much entirely new, and things worked out perfectly, but we couldn't come through in the end. I know we are one piece away from being true contenders, and I believe that player is in the upcoming draft. This player is starting to get attention from draft experts and labeled as possibly the biggest steal. Marshon Brooks is...."Chicago's Answer".

The Bulls simply need to get couple of consistent offensive/defensive players that can create their own shot. The problem with Chicago wasnt the fact that Rose didnt have help...it was the fact that Rose didnt have help that could create their own shot. Rose and Watson were the only..and I mean the only players on the Bulls that could create. That along with the fact that the coaches were calling BS/predictable offensive plays and didnt utilizing the talents of the players that they did have is one of the reason why we didnt beat the Heat. Every game was neck to neck...the Bulls were just a few shots or rebounds away from literally sweeping Miami.....but the infamous 4 straight 4th quarter collapses killed their chances.

Rose doesnt play like a traditional PG...he proved that he can..but wasnt allowed to more times than not. When you play a good defense in the playoffs you need more than one player that can create shots in the half court offense. Or a coach that knows how to utilize his players talents.

We also need to find a way for Boozer and Noah to work together. One cancels the other out more times than not. If they cant figure it out then they need to use one as trade bait. More than likely it wil have to be Noah...wish I hate. Wish we could trade the "defensive liability" Boozer. I feel funny about this guy being here...but more than likely the longer we wait the longer we'll be stuck with him.

The Bulls arent like the Knicks, Celtics, Magic etc. After the Heat Chicago is next in line out East when it comes to being able to compete for a title. We're just a few tweaks away. Be patient Bulls fans.

I agree with everything you said except the Noah part. If they can't play together and we can't get rid of Boozer, then bench him (Boozer). Noah is an emotion/energy bringer to this squad we need that cat. Start Gibson, don't know why Thibbs didn't go with that anyway, he held shit down while Boozer was out this season. Just my 2...

Beat the Heat. This team is starting to take shape. With the Magic signing Q-Rich, they (more than likely) have said bye-bye to Reddick and Matt Barnes, both of whom are on the Bulls radar (reddick signed the offer sheet) and Barnes will sign after Reddick's deal clears this Friday!

The Bulls Roster will look as such:

Rose (All-Star)
Reddick/Korver
Noah (Potential All-Star this year)
Boozer (Definite all-star in the east)
Deng

Bench:
S. Livingston/Acie Law
Reddick/Korver
Brad Miller (Likely)/O. Asik (This kid has turn up the Euro-League)
T. Gibson (1st Team All-Rookie)
M. Barnes/Johnson

This team adds a Boozer and O. Asik to a team that led the league in blocks and rebounding. The team adds shooting with Korver and Reddick (likely). Deng will continue to give his same (18 and 5). And the all-star Rose will be much more effective with added shooting and low post scoring.

I see them winning 60-63 games and having enough size, shooting, scoring and rebounding to out-last the heat (as currently constructed).

What yall think?
...next year.

I think one team that may take Boozer are the Nets. Remember the Russian Billionaire wanted to sign Boozer and was even willing to outbid the Bulls for him. I'm sure he still wants Boozer to pair him up with D-Will again. Also Kris Humphris will be free agent after this season so the Bulls can try to sign him this summer.

I dont want to give up one Boozer when he hasnt even played 82 games for us...but if the team stays the way that it is I dont see it working out.

Boozer can be that 20 and 10 guy if they knew how to use him. Boozer played great in Utah because of the system that he was in via Sloan. You have to call specific plays in order to get Boozer going. If you run 90% of your offense through your PG..then that aint gonna get him going.

I just hope Tom Tibby doesnt catch the Lovie Smith disease....i.e. he gets comfortable after over achieving and thinks changes dont need to be made. He's said numerous of times that he likes the team that he has....and understandably so.....but imo this team aint gonna win it all built like it is. We need to add a few pieces.

The heat was put through it all this year...

Losses
Cant Finish Close Games
Get Blowed out in Games
Losing Big Leads
Not Winning Against Quality Teams
Preyin on the Weaker Teams
Cry-gate
Everyone hates Lebron

and the list goes on and on....Like doc said all that did was make us stronger.

Lets see how Chicago handles this shit next season..and my predictions are 6 seed before the allstar break....major team overhaul and 7 seed in the east 2011-2012 season

I was listening to a guy on XM th other day breakdown the future of the East. His main point was for the next 5-7 years it belongs to the Heat, and the Heat alone.

Sadly,it looks like that....

As he pointed out, this is the worse the Heat will be during this period.Over the next few years the Heat will be tinkering with the roster...and free agents will want to go there.

The Bulls...D.Rose proved he is a star, not a superstar. And with the contract of Boozer choking them, their outlook for improving the team enough to beat Miami is not good.

My Celts...are old,we all know that...after next season they will have Rondo, and cap space...and that's about it.

Philly?the Bucks?Indy...no chance.

:smh::smh:
