We gotta be humble too; which is what the Bulls players and coaches are doing..thank God.
I think all the sudden hype and "predictions" thats coming from Reinsdorf, Jordan, ESPN , sports analyst etc. is putting tons of pressure on this current Bulls team. This is new territory for the majority of them. Rose, Tom Tibby, Noah etc are not falling into the hype though...and justifiably so. They've been extremely humble and refuse to make predictions or say some grimy shit until they've actually won something. I also refuse to make Championship prediction until I see some things also.
I know that the NBA has money on their minds and wants to see a Eastern Conference finals that involves Boston vs Miami and a Finals that involves Miami vs the Lakers.....but anything can happen.
I agree that there is no definite clear-cut favorite team to come out of the east. That's the thing. A couple of Boston stans were acting as if there was. Most fans of other teams haven't been acting like that, except some Miami fans before and earlier in the season.
Most Boston fans fell back a little while ago, except for Beeiii having done so within just the past couple of days. He will be be back to talking shit whenever they tie for or gain sole possession of first place. Either scenario will be short-lived.
As A Bulls fan, I don't know what will happen with certainty. This isn't the Bulls of Jordan's era who were tested. Going through the battles with Boston, Detroit, and other teams in the conference to a lesser extent prepared them to win on the scale that they did. Not having that (experience) with our current team is what gives me uncertainty. To that extent, I can't say that we can win the championship this year. However, I do think that we can get to the Finals if we end the season seeded at number 1. At this point, Miami is the only team imo who can prevent that from happening.
If you look at the Finals last year, Boston should have won it. Perk going down hurt, but I think as a team they choked as well. This Boston team isn't as strong as that team that went to the Finals last year. No knowledgable Boston fan can say otherwise and be telling the truth. We all know that this Bulls team is way better than the Bulls team of last season. I am even willing to say that our front-line is better than Boston's this year. That was Boston's area of strength. Now, not so much.
None of those kats on that team are on the level of a Jordan, Pippen, or Rodman. They can be beaten. Miami will be the team for us to beat (and vice-versa) to get to the Finals.
Oh shit no sign of the bitch nigga...
As sure as the sun rises, that ninja will be back as soon as the Bulls lose again...
He'll be watching that game against Indiana tonight. He'll show when they either tie or take sole possession. Like Beatdown said, he ain't even worth going back and forth with. Other than fuckin' with him in that Boston thread last night, I don't even acknowledge that clown.
