But anyways.....good win for my Bulls! Im not gonna type Bulls stats and the many reasons why the Heat always lose against good teams and why the ball shouldve been in Wades hands instead of Lebrons. The main thing I wanna type about is the character of the Bulls players. Damn near all of our players are comfortable playing their positions. During the post game interviews every player acknowledges who the captain is with absolutely no jealousy in their voices. Even if they dont hit their career/season averages...they dont cry like bitches/"Heat players in the locker room" and talk about how they dont get the ball. The just go out and play to win.
When the captain, Rose, actual speaks to reporters after he's had a great game he actually tries direct the attention away from himself and mainly talks about his teammates and the mistakes that he made during the game that they won. He didnt even smile when he started talking to the reporter right after the game. She asked him why he wasnt smiling and he basically started talking about his 3 turnovers and the fact that they almost lost the game. Rose is a very talented/humble dude.
As for this win...im happy....but I dont consider the Heat an elite team at this point...so im not that excited honestly...
....but what I will say is we as Bulls fans need to stay calm/humble. I always tell the Celtics groupie Beeii that he shouldnt brag about regular season play....the same should apply to me. The Heat play bad versus good teams during the regular season and the Bulls play great versus good teams during the regular season. But neither has proven that they can hold their own versus a good team in a 7 game series. My Bulls still have their issues but theyre a great team...yeah...A GREAT TEAM. I cant wait to see if they can prove themselves in the playoffs. IMO...If they give their all like theyre doing right now during the playoffs, they can win a title this year; even without a legitimate SG. Please believe that the so called top teams in the NBA are keeping track of us...please believe?We went 4-1 during this 5 game road trip. Couldve went 5-0..but you all know what happened. 4-1 is a good record considering how we've played on the road in the past.
We gotta play 5 games within he next 7 games
Next game is tomorrow versus a Chris Pauless Hornets team. That should easily be win #44. Our schedule looks pretty good for the remainder of the season. If I were Tom Tibby....I would start giving my bench more playing time...prep them for the playoff push.GO BULLS!!!!
