I was pricing out a new security door for my parents home, and I was looking for something more attractive than the straight bar look. The salesman gave me a brief tour of his shop to show the existing inventory and colors. I was amazed on how simple of a business it was.
They work off a basic metal door temple, and just add in the top, middle, and bottom inserts. Afterwards the door is given a powercoat paint job.
But the designs were really basic, and I wanted something that looked a little more high end.
My question what is the general cost of a good welding setup for a steel door.
I think a setup with better (more attractive) designs would be nice niche that could be exported outside the local area
