Ajanta Damani, worked as a Customer Service Representative at your Bank of America branch, and because you would frequent that locale often you developed a "friendly relationship."
A few weeks ago you actually sat down with her and discussed your option on a CD (Certificate of Deposit) that had reached it's maturity. In addition, she had a few suggestion that you might be interested in, but there were not accounts that were associated with the bank (so she would have to discuss them with you outside of the bank).
Ajanta suggested that if you had free time on Sunday afternoon that you could meet up someplace and discuss these potential business ventures.
In your mind you are thinking that she could be a "scammer," and is trying to get you involved in some crazy "Ponzi scheme," so you have your guards up.
She ended up showing you literature from a few companies that you were familiar with and told you that she started getting involved in investing after her divorce settlement and had learned a few things from her ex-husband who is a trader on Wall Street for Goldman Sachs.
Ajanta then suggested that you come home with her because she had some additional information that might be helpful to you so you followed her home.
You would never suspect, but her home was immaculate and looked like something out of "House Beautiful" with a phenomenal view of the Hudson River.
Against your better judgement, you had to ask her why was she being so kind to you and trying to help you out?
Ajanta looked very serious for a moment and said:
"I'm actually a vampire and I plan on turning you," what was scary was that she didn't break character for about a minute. However, she told you that she was just kidding and the truth was that sometimes she gets lonely and you seemed like a nice person to spend time.
