A friend of mine here works at the hotel almost 1 street over from the new Cowboys Stadium. We already reserved rooms for the superbowl. She got us in on the hook up. Gonna be PAAAAAAAAAAAAID When people start looking for last minute rooms over there. And we get the discounts when we travel around. 200 a night rooms for 60. Can't beat it. Don't knock the labor force. Don't knock'em at all.
And i agree with your other thing you said as well. I've seen it more from the guys than women.

At least that's how I see it.
I think people just do that to test the strength of their relationships - like if she had told dude about you and he started poppin' off on some "why you lookin' at my girl" shit, that would've been an insecurity problem in their relationship.

If this dummy knew anything about the hotel industry he would know that no matter what position/title you hold in hotel, your basically expected to do everyone else jobs since the turnover rate is so high.
It's not uncommon (atleast in the Pittsburgh area) to see GM's of hotels rolling up their sleeves to do housekeeping work, working the desk, bellmen duty, help waiting or even bussing tables in their suits.
The $59 discounts are sweet as well...I just set my cheap ass cousin up for a room for 3 nights in a king room at $143. On a your typical night a hotel is $259 here. Interesting tidbit...It only cost a hotel on average $16 per room per day to clean and maintain. Y'all getting raped lol.
