I have a problem....I disputed something thats listed on my credit report...The credit card company contacted me...After arguing with company rep. Come to find out a close family member to me open up the account in my name...
The account is 150 days past due with a balance of 400 now I can pay it but I dont wanna to cuz I dont want that revolving account under my name saying it went degratory ...
Now for the company to take it off completely they want me to file a police report naming my close family member as the suspect...
I asked the company can they put it in my family name the company quickly responded my family isnt credit worthy to have the account. And the company told me they sent a settlement check to my family member. During the whole conversation the company dispute rip keeps to me it happens all the time and the rep had the nerve to get loud with me..
Is there anything else I can do other then bite a 400 debt that I didnt created? Thanks people
