I wanted to know if anyone knew how to obtain a unsecured credit card with a low credit score, or which cards are the best to apply for?

its hard to get credit now a days, but if u have money in the bank you should be able to get a card with a low limit from your bank

I was thinking about that, just didnt know if I should take the chance. If its denied then I will have a hard inquiry on my report which could lower my score even more. Good look on the reply.

You probably don't won't to hear this but you need to work on repairing your credit and raising your credit score. Contacting your old creditors and getting old accounts closed. Easier said than done. I am not an expert but there are some threads on here about that.

Check out creditboards.com. they have a lot of good info on credit repair, as well as, a section that will tell what type of credit score you need to get a particular credit card. In addition, the site can tell you which credit reporting agency, that particular credit card uses for a credit check. its called credit pulls

Look into getting a catolog card like fingerhut, that's a good way to rebuilding your credit...
