we all know you hate the nigga and pretty much put most guard with a name ahead of him so

all time where does he rank as a sg ?

and where does he rank today in current league ,you obviously don't think he's the best so is he top 5, top 10, top 15, top 20 ?

for the 1,000,001st time, i don't hate tobe.

why is that so difficult to understand? his game his sloppy, fundamentally unsound, and detrimental to his team. pointing out the numerous flaws in his game (supported by historical evidence) seems to really make some sensitive people uncomfortable.

as a pure SG, tobe doesn't even rank on my radar. if he had a cleaner shot (nowhere near as good as wesley person's, for example) or a better stroke (nowhere near as good as ray allen's, for example) he might be a blip on the fringes. i'm NOT a fan of reggie miller's but even he was a superior SG to tobe.

BTW, this is not intended to divert away from the original question (i've answered it sufficiently above, no?), but your question points out how fans don't understand basketball enough to begin to comment on tobe.

why? because no person who understands professional basketball would ask me to rank tobe as a SG, because much of his career (and MOST of the past handful of seasons) tobe has occupied the SF position in the triangle. NOT the SG.

suffice it to say that IMO, tobe is not ranked at (or near) the "top" of any significant list i care to keep track of. tobe is on the bottom half of just about every category worth noting.

if we tracked:

"most disruptive negative team influence",
"most ill conceived FGAs",
"most out of control going to the basket",
"most likely to leave his feet to make a pass",
"most likely to lose his assignment on D",
"most likely to cherry pick",
"most likely to leak out to score run outs",
"most likely to verbally ref-bait"

and several others, then tobe would rank near the top of all those categories.

The funny thing is that he's ALWAYS matched up against the SG on the defensive side. He really doesn't like to play against a physical player, which is why he operates out on the wing.

Even in this series, he doesn't match up against Pierce for various reason. But if he is the great defender that people claim he is, then he needs to hop out on Pierce in the 4th quarter instead of waiting for the outlet pass after the Celtics score.

Kobe was guarding Rondo/cassell Most part of the game. he stayed on paul pierce in the 4th qtr and thats where he managed to make plays and get foul shots against Kobe.

2-14 = 4 points Pierce ended the night with 6 points:confused:

I'm glad somebody called pookie on the bullshit he pulled out of thin air.

 @ Wobe guarding Pierce for most of the game.

Re: where does tobe rank

if memory serves correct, it was tobe on rajan rondo and james posey in the 1st half.

vladimir radmanovic checked paul pierce in the 1st half (except of course, when he "fouled out").
