Carmelo Anthony does not make anybody better, he doesn't make a team any better. As a matter of fact, he holds his team back with his shoot first mentality, average accuracy, jumping like Billy Hoyle and defensive skills just slightly better than James Harden. Ain't no way in hell I would want Carmelo Anthony on my team.

CP3 on the other hand makes an entire team better. Of course there are more pieces needed in order to get him to the championship level, but he adds a minimum of 15 to 20 wins per season just on his presence alone. I would put $100 on a poll of any type, Twitter, BGOL, wherever pitting these two against each other and I guarantee you CP3 would win hands down

lol idk sports.. only reason why kj don't get as much props cause he was in a league with magic, zeke, and stockton..3 hall of famers..his best yrs got overshadow cause magic and zeke were getting mvp's during the season and during the finals and stockton was having 13 and 14 assist season yrs.. can't get assist titles when some dude is getting that many assist a yr..won't get first team if magic, zeke, and stockton are playing.. but if u put kj stat for stat there was yrs kj had better yrs and they both have similar overall stats..bet u didn't kno that pops

AI is the only star who still was a star, that Melo has ever played with and they went to WCF and lost to eventual champions. What other star talent has Melo played with?

A broken down Amare?
JR Smith?
Kenyon Martin?

U cannot make the case that Melo was on a good team destined for a deep playoff run and didnt do it.

U can make that case with Chris Paul. Annually. I like Chris Paul, but his teams underachieve with alot of talent and one of the best coaches in the game.

CP3 is not the most overrated in history however, he is failing to lead his teams to the promised land.

Wait. Kyrie is a better PG than CP3? Kyrie is a better 2-guard than CP3. One reason why the Cavs were in the lottery(and 4-14 without Lebron) is because Kyrie is an undersized 2-guard playing the point position. There isn't much more that can disrupt a team than having a ball hog who doesn't really do defense play PG.
 
All I know is that CP3 and David West both wanted out of New Orleans back in 2011 because they wanted to win a championship and play for a real contender.
Since leaving until now what has both done in reaching their goal???
David West even took a paycut to play with the Spurs and got bounced.
