Keep Your Insurance? Not Everyone.
Obama's claim depends on what employers would likely do under several legislative scenarios.
August 18, 2009
Summary
President Obama has repeatedly said that under the health care overhaul efforts in Congress, "if you like your health care plan, you keep your health care plan." But he can’t make that promise to everyone.
In fact, under the House bill, some employers might have to modify plans after a five-year grace period if they don’t meet minimum benefits standards.

Just checking!!!

Now, I'll merge your FAILED effort with the original thread.

Son,I have a question for both Que, and Thought.
I understand that you both support this bill *I don't wanna hear otherwise Que, only because with every chance you get, you post an "fact check" link*. Why do you trust that the government would actually do this one right? I'm really serious about this one. What really makes you think that this would be so different from Social Security, or the V.A.?
I have the bill on my computer, and while I was reading it, it seems like the language in the bill opens up a shitload of loopholes. This is the reason why I'm trying to understand both of ya'll support for this.
Son,
I have NEVER read any version of any bill.
I keep hearing different comments arguing what the various bills under consideration might or might not do. When I find something that appears to be "factual", if it tends to put rumor to rest, I post it.
I realize, however, that posting facts instead of the kindergarten my guys are better than your guys which you are more accustomed, might be a bit confusing to you.
(1) Post what you contend is THE bill; and
(2) Point out the provisions in it that you contend are loopholes, and for what.
Maybe then we will be able to hold intelligent discussions.

Ok, I accept that you were talking out of you actinanass and can’t produce a damn thing you claim. So to save you the mental effort since you use so little anyway of deflecting the question for the umpteenth time I will just let you wallow in republican talking points ether!
so this isn't the bill?

The burden of proof is on your side Mr. Mod.
In fact, I will make your job easier. I DON'T LIKE THE FUCKING BILL. THE WHOLE DAMN THING. I don't like it because I don't like congress right now. I don't trust congress right now. Congress made this bill. If Obama is supporting this bill *in which I think he does* I won't like Obama. Hell, I wouldn't like Bush if he was in office, and was supporting this bill. In fact, why not congress do this. LEAVE HEALTH CARE ALONE, and fix that failure you call the stimulus. Oh, I fucking forgot, the stimulus hasn't kicked in yet.... What utter bullshit. Yet, you sit up here, and defend all of this?
Well, Kemo Sabe, you know damn well you haven't read a thousand pages. LOL.
Hell, you probably haven't read 10 pages of anything in 10 years. LOL
Since you don't like any of it; and it is obvious you haven't read any of it (if you had read it you would certainly try to show that you are prepared to speak intelligently about it); there is simply no need for us to discuss, any of it.
So, until you can actually refer to a particular provision that (1) you understand; and (2) you have a problem with; (3) stop asking people about it (because its obvious you're trying to get other people to read it for you).

See how shit change when I post the bill?
On the real, I actually read majority of the bill. I didn't read the first 100 pages because it was dealing with the basic stuff.
When you respond with the "facts", you are kinda proving some of the opponents right. For example, with the "Obama will not force anyone to this plan" paragraph. Yeah, this bill do not say "you have to be on OUR plan", however, what it does do is force employers to "modify" the plan they are providing to the employee's. The question is, how much do the employer have to modify? What the cost of modifying the coverage? Last, but not least, will the company keep the coverage afterward?
There's too many variables to deal with IMO. Not to mention, I believe the goal out of this whole ordeal is to make health care single payer in the long run anyway.

WTF are you talking about ? ? ?
What page are you referring to? - so I can read it.
QueEx
Okay, now what point are you trying to make ?????
Yeah. You got me with that one. At first I thought you were talking about some aspect of the bill you posted; and, come to find out, you were quoting FactCheck. My bad; you're right, your point has been made: you're very confused.

Please. Would have.
