Could it be possible that women distroyed Masculinity

Just wanted to know did women cause men to lose masculinity?

Here is the situation:
I grew up around alot of old men that had certain characteristics about themselves. For one they were sort of looked rough, but remained clean. You can tell from a distance that it was a man. Some had long hair but their features looked masculine. They talked like men, walked like a man, and worked like a man. Alot of them had scars, rough beards, rough looking hands, etc.

When ever you meet them it was all respect. I really didn't grow up around men that disrespected women alot, eventhough some were players. To sum up what I'm saying: Every aspect about them flourshed with masculinity.

Now when I was growing up in the 90's. I saw a different picture at school. Some dudes wearing earrings in both ears, sagging, lip gloss, and dressed cleaner than some females. I'm not gonna even address what these dude are wearing today. So I asked myself the question: When did men started to embrace this more feminine attributes, and is it good for humankind?


Back in the 80's i used to hear women all the time talk about how they love men that look like Debarge, and wanted them sensative. Now more than ever alot of dudes have female ways. Was this the effect of men trying to evolve to a woman's idea of a man?

i dress with what's good for me and i do the things i feel a man should do. i move and act like a man and i don't worry how all women perceive me because that's not what men do.


the men who went out and tried to cater to the feminine look have nobody but themselves to blame or to look at. nobody is forcing earrings lip gloss and all that type of stuff on men. even if women say they like it you don't have to do it to get them. you should be yourself and run with the group of women that like they way YOU are as a man.

i dont really think so. women have more options and opportunities in the work force and other areas than they used to. but in our most basic forms women can't be more masculine than men.
i don't mean whiny dudes who don't want women to have opinions who dont want women to work who don't want women to want a place. im talking about men who want women to want stuff and have goals. who want women to have opinions and to be strong...that's what i like. i like strong women who work hard who have goals who arent afraid to say how they feel. those women are the ones that want to be led the most. a whiny dude can't do it...but i can

A boy growing up in a house full of women can come out masculine. That is not what it takes to make a man want to sag pants and wear and look 'metrosexual'.


What does get a man to that point is parents, (both of them if they are there), that don't give a damn about the influences that are upon their children and don't take the time to explain to them what they should and should not be doing.

I blame the media,women and men. But really I blame men for folding like cardboard to what women want (also blame women because as a man you have to dress the way a woman wants you to attract women). Let's not forget that women used to be obsessed with Rick James feminne as. Or prince with his ass cheeks cut out wearing purple and bell bottoms and eye liner.
