My crew has its eye on some residential properties in East ATL that we think would be good tear downs..anyone have experience in tearing down a residential property in Fulton or Dekalb county..

I'm looking for how much the demolition services run and any tips or pointers on pitfalls in dealing with the Fulton or Dekalb County city council or Neighborhood associations in getting plans for the new construction approved..

Thanks

Are you plugged in to the local R.E. investors group thee?

Many have already done what you're trying to do - why re-invent the wheel?

Stop by the next project you see where they have or in the process of demoliition and ask how much they charge. Ask a bunch of people and see. I am pretty sure it's going to vary from structure to structure. Before you demolish anything though find out if there is any building restrictions. There are some areas where they are only issuing few building permits and only permits of certain kinds of structures. It would kinda suck to find out they are not allowing anymore of the plans you have after you buy.
