Was up all, decided to try and cut the cord about 3 weeks ago kids went through withdrawal till they figured out the fire stick but they are managing lol!

Recently picked up a 60 samsung 4k and I have been debating on the ipremium i9 or the shield kodi and tv viewing options would be the main goal. Do you guysv have any experience or opinions on the ipremium i9?

Hope link works

Bro, I can't conceive paying over 100 dollars for a kodi box. I use a 40 dollar Amazon Fire Stick with the Spinz TV build installed. There are other builds just as good. Only thing is I don't know if the Fire TV Stick broadcasts 4K - or if 4K streams are available at all. Maybe some of the experts can weigh in on that.

Yeah I feel that just was looking and thinking that the iptv side of it might add some more options in regards of content to watch. I just don't have any experience with the iptv part it also has tuners of some sort so just trying to see if it's worth it I have been able to find it online as low as about 90.00 dollars.

I need more info on the Amazon fire stick. This is what I need from this device:

NFL Network - this is one of 3 channels I watch, along with TNT, and Fox Sports Ohio (Cavs games)

NFL Sunday Ticket access

There's add-ons that have the sports you're looking for.
TNT might be a little harder to find though.
I've seen a link for TNT, but it seems to be a foreign feed in another language.

Don't buy a device expecting a bunch of 4k streams online.
There's very little 4k available, even through Amazon or Netflix.
There's pretty much NO free 4k available via Kodi.

How do you set it up? How would I know whether the whole thing is legit? I'm about to buy one right now

Man, we really do need a cord-cutters forum around here with stickied posts.
There's literally tons of posts here on how to download Kodi and the various builds (with addons already included) for it.
The easiest way is to get Firestarter installed first and get Kodi through Firestarter.
Then get The Beast build.
Here's a couple of links.

You can find these on Navi.

Thanks for the input, I understand that there is not a lot of 4k content yet but I was just wondering about the ipremium,if any one had any experience with it or opinion as it is able to run kodi, has the micky hop platform iptv with access to live or streaming channels and any other thoughts or recommendations.

I don't have any experience with that device. Looks like one of the million Android boxes out there that can run Kodi.
You shouldn't pay more than $100 for an Android box IMO unless you are an avid gamer and want something like an Nvidia Shield.

is the best quality you can get on be Amazon fire stick the first row sports quality? Because that's trash. I couldn't get through the Cavs game watching that subpar quality bullshit. Are there any HD options available

Get the pro sport add on, they have games in HD.
You motherfuckers are fucking...awesome.

Anyone who fixes their mouth to say that bgol isn't worth the subscription is out of their damn minds. Kudos, young blood.

Too bad my Cavs are down 24 in the 4th quarter, but that shit is HD quality bro.

How do I find NFL Network? Because if I can find NFL Network I can cancel DirecTV altogether

i'm just going to continue to bug @HNIC about a Cord Cutter's subforum.

Try this IPTV app for NFL network.

Man, I'm about to get rid of my direct tv. Y'all motherfuckers are about to save me a lot of money. Fuckyou DIRECTV

No need for sub forum. Most wouldn't see it if it moved

The problem though is that.... in a couple weeks another cat will post a thread asking the same questions about cord cutting and then we will have to do all this again. Plus think of the cats on here, who probably missed out on the Wolf IPTV add-on because they skipped this thread. That's why I think we should have a subforum. All this info needs to be one spot on here.

Was good, I ended up going with the matricom gbox q2. So far awesome box build quality and remote up to par. Wireless mouse and keyboard help with navigation but not needed I have Exodus,Spector and pro hd installed so far as add-ons still putting together was worth it so far.

Yeah ethernet is the way to go I have so many devices already on wifi didn't want to have any of the buffering issues that I occasionally have with my fire stick.

I just sent a gbox 2 and a shield back to amazon. Instead I copped fire tv boxes. Dollar for dollar it can't be beat. Best streaming box for the price.

I use the Amazon Fire tv and luv it!! I have mine hard wired to my cable modem and that makes a big difference!!

although I have absolutely no idea what that means or how you do it?

I'm very very excited!!! - and would appreciated explaining exactly what you mean :D

I think we gonna need a much more organized way of post all this VALUABLE info

maybe a dedicated forum?

He means he has an Ethernet cable connected from the Amazon FireTV box to his modem.
I have the same setup for mine along with other devices (I have Cat5 connections in my home already along with a switch in each room).
Whenever possible, always hardwire your devices rather than using wifi.
It makes a huge difference.

Just do a search for "Kodi" on this board and start reading.
It's really not that hard to set up.

Looks like playstation vue has finally gone nationwide. I still think slingtv might be the best value but this is another good option for live tv for cord cutters. I'm going to try the free trial and come back with a report to see if it is worth it.
