Control what Google see's about you

Google has just released a new page, "about me," for updating personal information across services. Visit aboutme.google.com and you'll see a new dashboard available for controlling what's viewable on Google offerings like Drive and Google+, including contact information, photos, and more. Similar options were previously available on Google+, and as reported by TechCrunch, still will be, but now changes can be made to your Google+ profile through the new page or vice versa.

The page will soon also let users view how others across the web see their pages, and provides a link out to privacy settings. "About me" began rolling out to users this week, and was apparently first spotted by the Google-watching blog Google Operating System.

They own youtube, google maps (it tracks your every move even if the app on your phone is not open), and an assload of other shit and collect info on you across platforms under the guise of customizing your searches, making suggestions & recommendations, etc.

Click on this link and it will show your location. Why is Google collecting this information without your consent? No wonder, I am followed on long distance trips with such ease.

I am sick of these clowns at these tech companies turning these tools into weapons against you to spy and harass you. They also get rich off of doing it.

It seems Google and Microsoft will willingly give your information over to anybody that wants it behind your back.

Say I search for hotels, every site that have adverting have hotels there... That shit drives me in the worse way...

Not sure about that but I've got 2 usernames, one which is my primary email and the other I use specifically for Google apps.

Google is tricky though, when some apps update they like to try to add both email's to their apps.

It is probably a moot point seeing as how my device runs Googles OS but at least if my shit ever gets leaked I can say, "that isn't my email account."
