AOC sees the handwriting on the wall. Progressives that back her only want to complain they can't actually get anything done cause they're too toxic to form coalitions with anyone. So they're just a bunch of loud assholes that were shown to be ineffective in the 2018 and 2020 elections. Additionally, AOC knows that being loud but not doing anything for her district is a load of bullshit. Her section of Queens floods REGULARLY and she voted against the Infrastructure Act which is highly needed in her part of Queens. The only way she wins another election is if she's a good girl and doesn't give the Dems a desire to get her out of there by running someone that can kick her to the curb cause right now she's highly vulnerable. You play up the infrastructure vote after we had MASSIVE flooding in Queens and then compare her lack of getting anything done to Lauren Underwood and it will be a wrap for that useless bitch AOC.

You mean the Infrastructure Act that she and others agreed to support with after coming to an agreement with the more conservative part of the party that both parts of the infracture bill would be passed.
The party took the infrastructure bill and split into 2 bills. 1 bill dealt with the physical infrastructure and the other dealt with other things like paid family leave, the ability to negotiate drug prices,etc. After the usual suspects, Joe Manchin, Kiersten Sinema, reneged and didn't support the 2nd part people like AOC decided to do what they said they would do earlier and not support the physical infrastructure bill which by the way takes some private corporate money to help fund these projects leading to the privatization of some federal roads. The bill passed with Republican votes anyway. So her bad for being upset with getting screwed over on an agreement about a bill that would have helped her constituents.

The squad are a joke and always have been and that bill proved it more than anything else. And don't ever forget Cory Bush was the same useless chick that didn't win even one Black area of her District when it was the primary. She got in on the white vote. And that's the thing I keep telling people on here about these Bernie Sanders progressives, they appeal to white people because everything behind their Brown faces is 100% white.

The same group of people that complained about baby formula prices and then weeks later voted unanimously against a measure to help that same issue while not proposing a plan of their own. Same party that voted unanimously against protecting military pay increases and a host of other measures that would ordinary Americans many times after spending weeks in the media getting themselves brownie points by complaining about those very same issues they vote against. Cori Bush beat an institution that held that seat for 50 years between a father and his son who took over his seat. Ane he went from beating her by 20 points to losing to her 2 years later. Let's not ignore her public protest of the eviction moratorium ending during the pandemic that helped that get extended.

The point is that all they did was a bullshit act that was never going to accomplish anything. But that's always been the problem with the Squad and the Bernie left in general. And that's always been what the Bernie Sanders left does when it comes to their candidates. Bruh, if the Bernard left would ever step down from Mount Olympus for a second and acknowledge that the vast majority of even Democrats don't want them in power, maybe they could work on in improving their election results.

Maybe they should ask themselves what is it that's turning off voters. Is it our messaging? Our policies? Our candidates?

Maybe when you say shit like "we need to end all gas based cars in 10 years" a lot of people are going to ask "so does that mean I'm going to be forced to buy a new car? I've never been able to afford a new car in my life."

Maybe when you constantly attack the Democratic party as corrupt, people that identify as Democrats might not want to vote for you.

Maybe if you passed some legislation instead of constantly yapping, it would help.
