Congratulation Dirk Nowitzki on joining the 30,000 point club!!!!

Kidd went to 3 finals

Played against hella hofs
and only 1 was with the mavs..so how could he be in talks as the best mav ever when 12 of his 20 yr career was somewhere else..that's 60 percent of his career in some other team uniform...career mav stats 10.5 point 8.4 assist

Never complained about anything. Just went out there and handled business. Props.

Top 5 PF?

I remember when Dirk came here.......we were PISSED they traded Tractor Traylor for him. That pick saved our franchise.

good question who would people consider the top 5???

duncan?? malone?? mchale?? dirk??? kg??? barkley?? etc

Man out of that list.....I'd say Duncan for sure had a better career. Karl Malone did too......but when you get into Malone and Barkley......you don't got the ring so then what?

I'l say this.....Dirk is the best shooting power forward of all time.

Dirk use to bust KG ass every time he got.

Mavs know the only people that use to be able to guard Dirk for whatever reason was niggas like Shawn Marion and Stephen Jackson......I have no idea why. \\

You not gonna find too many Dirk's out there. Kwahi Leonard is the same type. Superstar who just shuts up and plays. Leads by his skills and game.

It's difficult, those that don't have a ring, you can still make a case for why they are top 5. KG would still be an MVP if you took away his ring. But should be be penalized because he went to Boston to win? I'd probably toss the CAC

It's crazy with Dirk. Didn't he take two different teams(I mean rosters) to the finals? That's some Lebron shit. Had to go through the west with one of the best centers of all-time(Shaq), the second-best 2 guard(Kobe), the best PF(Duncan) operating in what seems to be one of the best systems ever, and still put in work without much help.

At his peak, he was shooting 40 percent from 3, getting about 9 boards, and could even push the ball up court at 7 ft. FOH. One of the most underrated players.

Dirk has had a very underrated career in part because of the labels he had to kick off earlier in his career. I was there too many. I Thought he was too soft to be a #1. And he was. Avery IMO, gave him some edge and swag.

Dirk got a ring with no other superstars.....hell no other all stars if you think about it. And he should have TWO RINGS. He was robbed for that first one.

people forget karl malone got 2 mvp's... barkley got an mvp, kg got an mvp.. all were double/double guys.. mchale was called 1 of the best pf by a lot of players back in the 80's and got multiple rings on the celtics..dirk mvp and chip

This the thing though. Dirk didn't play with great players. The best players he had IMO, were Finley and Nash and Dirk wasn't Dirk when they played for the Mavs. They had to leave for him to become who he became and by that time Dirk was playing with the Jason Terry's and the JJ Barea's of the world. Meanwhile, Kobe was playing with Shaq, Duncan had Ginobilli and Parker, etc.

So is McHale still top 5? Would you take him over any of the others you named?

Yeah. He was patient and they built the perfect team around him.

Yeah.....he'd have more rings if he wasn't loyal to a fault.

To keep it 100 I'm shocked he even put up 30,000 points. Because Dirk could've killed that shit. There would be nights where Dirk would be having like 10-12 shot attempts. He could've easily ball hogged and scored more than that.

That's my major fault of Dirk. Too humble. And he still put up 30k.

good question.. he mite stay off it juss cause his stats are a lil less and i personally haven't seen enough footage of him playing to give a perfect answer so as of now he 5b lol or number 6

Yeah see I didn't get to see much of Mchale aside from clips and old games on ESPNClassic........I gotta say man.....he was a efficient guy but he never came off as dominant to me. Like I Just could never see Mchale being a #1 on a team and getting them a ring.

Yeah, and he's probably the only player that was never considered the Man/leader on a team.

I didn't want to bring up the fact he was robbed of that 2006 ring. The parade to the free throw line was the most blatant fuckery I've ever seen. :smh: :smh:

No.

They just couldnt guard Wade. When Wade realized that they couldnt keep up with him, he just kept at it.

Avery refused to adjust.

The rest is history.
