A knife. That is how it's bullshit. Stabbed to death by a guy whom ass he's beaten every time they fight?

Killed by the physically weakest Drax I have ever seen, that is how it's bullshit. :smh:

WTF are you talking about....

THERE WAS NO FUCKING KNIFE USED.

My man...Do you know who DRAX is to Thanos?

Fuck...reading is hard for folks these days.

You must be use to some Michael Bay shit...You need to go back and RE-READ Annihilation. While you are at it...read up on Thanos and Drax...because Drax is a threat to Thanos NO MATTER WHAT VERSION/STATE he is in.

Just in case that is too much reading for you...Drax in any form...has a little magic, technology and power cosmic involved in his resurrection. The father of the father of the father of the gods made sure of that.

Jim Starlin set this storyline up back in the 60's...marvel approved it 1973. Thanos is awesome but Drax is his living and evolving kryptonite.

Fuck out here with that lack of knowledge shit.

I have all of those issues. I have read probably every Thanos story line ever written. I know how Arthur Douglas was killed by Thanos and resurrected into a engine of destruction.

Drax has never ever beaten Thanos before. During his initial state when he was articulate, Thanos beat him. He had to be saved by Iron man back in the day. You must confuse being a pest with being a threat. Then, after that, he was killed by his daughter Hoondragon.

After his resurrection when he was a simpleton, he couldn't compete with Thanos. During that run, he was beaten by Warlock, and tricked by the man beast. C'mon son, I know this character. Battles with the blood brothers,a fight with the Hulk, having to swallow his power gem to keep from loosing it, tracking Thanos when he had the cosmic cube, everything.

Edit, yeah i was wrong about the knife. Didn't he simply punch through his chest? Oh yeah, that's a good ending.

That is completely out of character.

That is completely out of character.

1st bold text) Incorrect.

Prior to Drax joining Infinity Watch he defeated Thanos in battle. In which Thanos...teleported 2x. I believe this was in an issue of Silver Surfer or Marvel Comic Presents.

Source: Marvel.com - marvel.com/universe/Drax

After Thanos was defeated, Drax was eventually killed by a psychic attack from Moondragon.

Years later, Drax was resurrected to once again battle Thanos (also recently resurrected). Drax's resurrection was not perfect, however; his brain remained damaged from his previous death. After Thanos was defeated a second time, Drax became a member of the Infinity Watch and guardian of the Power Gem.

Don't know why you lying. Because if you really did read everything about Thanos...you would know this.

2nd bold text) That was more than a simple punch through his chest.

Notice the green glow? That glow shows up every time Drax moves in for the kill shot on Thanos...

1. nowhere in that link does it say he ever previously defeat Thanos.
2. That "Kill aura" never existed before this story line.
3. Look at these pictures and draw conclusions of power levels, and the durability of the Mad Titan, then you will see why I call bullshit.

This is during Thor's Warrior madness storyline. Previous to this confrontation, Thor beat: Warlock, The Silver Surfer, Beta Ray Bill, Drax (Whooped his ass and took his power gem to boot) and Maxam.

Thanos went head up with Thor while in full warrior madness mode with the Gem of power and managed to imprison him in a block of force. They are taking him to **** to be cured, but the all-father sees them with the mad titan and all hell breaks loose.
First, Thanos casually bitches out Heimdal

This isn't even close to the history of these characters. Even Mentor of Titan when recanting the origin of Drax says that his creation is a half hearted effort by Chronos. :smh:

Just stop it.

After Thanos was defeated, Drax was eventually killed by a psychic attack from Moondragon.

After Thanos was defeated a second time, Drax became a member of the Infinity Watch and guardian of the Power Gem.

The first "real" defeat of Thanos was by the original captain Marvel. Thanos achieved Godhood with the use of the cosmic cube. Mar Vel smashed the cube and Thanos was defeated.

Thanos was getting his ass beat by the Magus (Alternate Adam Warlock) until Warlock cleansed his timeline and stole his own soul.

Thanos was defeated by Warlock after he was released from the soul gem by Spiderman. He got turned to stone. he was then resurrected by death and assigned the task of killing off 50% of all life.

He later did the same stupid shit with the Infinity gems that he did with the cube and was "defeated" by Nebula.

Those are the only "defeats" the Titan has ever suffered. And none of them was by Drax

So what you saying is that the Marvel info is incorrect?

You are also saying that Thanos is at his peak of his power at all times?

You do know that Thanos does not have any 'inherent' powers per se. His powers comes from a mix of tech, magic and manipulation of the power cosmic.

He also a mutant for his race...born with...the deviant appearance.

Thanos matures to adulthood, and via the use of bionics and mysticism augments his abilities to become the most powerful of the Titanian-born Eternals, and is often referred to as the Mad Titan

In the series of Annihilation he is not in usual form...using mystics, tech and power cosmic on the behalf of Annihilus but never using it for himself directly. He is also not wearing his usual 'costume' which in and of itself does more than it looks like.

He is mortal. At the time he was trying to live like a mortal (as he tried before in an earlier storyline featured in Silver Surfer and Infinity Watch.)

The Thanos that died was not the same one that was tasting rainbows so you need to read up on your purple homeboy because he is not INHERENTLY powerful therefore that storyline sticks.

Loving this!!! Don't sleep, this is actually the 1st time in years I've enjoyed a GA book!

It's almost word for word and panel for panel of 'Emerald Twilight'...if you have not read that then I can see why you would like it because 'Emerald Twilight' was nice until they retconned.

We are talking about the Thanos that enslaved the Fallen one right?

And you say Thanos doesn't have any inherent powers?

Death greatly augmented his might after she resurrected him, you know this right?

Even when he was in his "farmer" state, he casually dismissed the Elder of the universe known as the Champion. You know this right? The elder busted through his house while he was contemplating his life and he casually dismissed him, You know this right?

He is a mutant born of the Titans, they are an offshoot of the gods on Olympus. You know this right?

Please look at these:
ao5nbd.jpg

He's using energy blasts without his costume? How, he doesn't have any real powers.

653389.jpg

Here is the aftermath of a blast from the Fallen one that the former Herald thought killed the Mad titan. :smh:

8wi9za.jpg

Pissed off, the Herald ignites the nearby Red giant star, causing it to erupt. It fails to kill the Titan, or the Familiar that was with him at the time of his "death". :smh:

oh8whs.jpg

The aftermath of the blast that destroyed a Solar System, and the subsequent enslavement of the Fallen one.

This is the Thanos that was not bent on Conquest of Nihilism. At his base strength, the Titan is one of the most powerful non-Cosmic deities in the Marvel U.

His death with a single punch is bad writing. Sorry you don't agree, but I think I have proven my point, while you are quoting random postings and "facts" from the internet while I am posting facts from books in my possession.

Oh, and he also survived an attack with a singularity. :smh::smh:

My stuff is coming straight from Marvel's site. All that is nice and you are correct...though inherently (innate abilities of his race are not powers but abilities of that race therefore not inherent powers).

Drax is the one that was made to kill him...Do you dispute this?

No, but the Drax that was made to kill him never came close until that story line.

His brother has super strength, power of flight, the ability to fly through space and emotion manipulation powers. The Titan was born a mutant, with strength greater than any other Titan.

Thanos matures to adulthood, and via the use of bionics and mysticism augments his abilities to become the most powerful of the Titanian-born Eternals, and is often referred to as the Mad Titan

EDIT: Like I said, Drax has never defeated Thanos.

The Hulk Busters were made to beat the Hulk. I think the only time they beat him was during the time that the Madder he got, the weaker he got until he turned back into Banner.
You know this is the Titan that was killed by Adam Warlock right? When death brought him back, it was in a new body.

Yeah I know that but what I saying is this...

Marvel never penned out exactly how Thanos does the shit he does...in fact when it comes to there heavy hitters (cosmic) they never put anything in stone.

So with the above example of when he was in a black hole...It's not like you can say with 100% he was in the middle of the black hole physically...got grinded up and he hulk slapped his way out...

He's like Doom that he uses a combo of means to achieve his goals. With that said, I think and I know it was always written that Drax would be the one to punch his clock no matter his form.

Drax could have did something sooner in his super hero form but Adam fucked with his head and did the whammy on him allowing Thanos to live and shit...

We can bring this to PM/End it...if the thread is getting derailed :)
