They should put Nate on The Guardians of The Galaxy or give him his own space book. Dude is too powerful for the x-Books
I agree. Nate is basically Cable without the techno virus...making him almost a low tier comsic

He would not fit.
Nate wants to be the OPPOSITE of what he was meant to be...a weapon.
The title of shaman fits him...as he wants to heal and mend some of the hurt in the world.
As for his power level...it's way beyond that actually.
Actually i disagree. I think Nate would fit in perfectly with the cosmic stuff. it sounds like nate is real similar to adam worlock when it comes to finding a purpose for all that cosmic power. add that to the fact that based on fight cable had with the silver surfer when he was ultra powered Nate could hold his own in those kind of fights. Finally Marvel has tried already to keep the X-men involved in the cosmic stuff with what they did with Havok. They could just move Nate into those books and see if it works........
Also on a side note they need to bring Genus Marvell back man. his sister was horrible as a replacement.
I guess you have to read his book.
NATE won't fight.
NATE ONLY fought when it was the only choice...even then he would just hold back and wait the other person out.
Part of the reason why the book did not do very well was because readers wanted him to go in and end shit. Instead he would take time to understand himself, what to do with his future and how to help his friends (Spider-Man, Threnody, Madeline Prior and vagrants of Central Park).
1/2 half of series was about him gaining more control over his powers + trying not to get played by people.
Onslaught came and he spent most of his power getting "sapped" (pretending) by Onslaught and helping a stronger mutant than himself (Franklin Richards) from being used and unleashing his power.
The last half was about him having control over his power but losing control of his body as his countdown started by AoA Sinister kicked in. He had to go to alternate earths to get it fixed and he basically used his power to undo and entire races genetic dependency that would have threatened 616-Marvel.
Not one punch, one death...he just changed stuff.
Let see how they write him now but when we last left off - He absorbed an entire life-time of experience, got a new body for an alt version of himself, saved the universe and overcame his oedipus complex.
Now that I think about it - His story is mirrored in Avatar very well.
I stopped reading myself after awhile...he does sound alot like the Silver Surfer with all the inner reflection, maybe they can mold em in that frame. Instead they probably only brought him back for this 6 issue mini in dark Xmen and then they will forget about him. Marvel need to step there threat level up if there gonna have all these new power houses running around. If DC can do it, Marvel can too. I do feel everything else though, its enough of a power stretch with the X-Men having Namor now
I think he is the only one that can solve the mutant birth problem.
The threats for the X-Men should stay grounded in the 'mankind vs mutants' area...every time it go elsewhere it's gets too complicated for others to follow. That subject alone will never get old.
The other stories they excel in is in helping mutants reach their full potential...that may be a good area for Nate to be in...then have him going into the cosmos perhaps as a member of the Star Jammers...a bit explorer...a bit interloper...perfect spot if the writer is willing to work on the uncle raising nephew story too.
I feel that but they already have Rachael and they bopped her powers down, I can see them going back to the powers killing him because they need a cap for his powers if he's going to stay around
