True, but at least in the case of Invicible he gives as good as he gets.
Black Panther and Dr Voodoo both had their ass's handed to them by Dr Doom which is just fucking ridiculous. (Moreso, in Dr Voodoo's case as it was his freaking debut as Marvels Sorceror Supreme.)

I didn't even read this book because I am done with it but after what you just said Marvel flag ship is at the bottom of the sea.

ALL of the X-Men are acting out of character. (Prof X attacking Magneto unprovoked?)
I don't know if this is a plot device or if the writers have never read an X-Men book published before 2004!

I don't see how it has become less interesting at all. Story has been tight since issue 1. Can't say that for many books out now. Indie books yeah but not from Marvel or DC with their consistent ball dropping tactics.

It has slowed down but it still keeps you waiting for the next issue to come out.
I read issues 1-40 all at once. So I was hooked.
They are starting to have more realistic problems to deal with now the zombie plague is a sub plot.
I'm not clear on why everyone is tripping on the new direction of Scott or even Magneto coming back like that. It's like everyone thinks its the X Men of the 80's or 90's. The mutant populations has been reduced to the 100's. They are at -0 birth rate. The whole marvel universe is out of character from what we're used to and I think we are watching characters adapt to these major changes. For the X Men to continue to act like they used to and expect a different result would be insanity. Magneto just came back from being "homo sapien" how is he suppose to act? Xavier had his mind wiped and has been exposed doing some dirt. His own people aren't fucking with him like that. I'm not surprised he attacked Magneto. The Professor & Magneto were always the same dude just one had a more popular approach. Xavier has rarely been challenged at least by "his" X Men. It all makes sense to me I'm just curious to how some of ya'll would expect them to react?

It's just really slowed down for me. One of the reasons I latched onto it was because Marvel and DC were bland.
That's where I'm at with it now. That's what I don't like zombies are in the background now. It doesn't have that suspensful edge it had before to me.

Cyclops is the leader I get that but he is acting like god almighty.
Magneto was the Malcolm X of comics. "By Any Means Necessary" "Never Again" those were the words we heard him say over and over.
What did he tell Xavier after the Magneto Wars that he would leave, re group and do it all over again and nothing short of killing him will stop him.
This is the man who is kneeling?
Come on Xavier is a pacifist. Xavier attacking first? This is the guy who took in Sabertooth,Rogue and even ask Magneto to be headmaster.
Magneto is the type that if there are only 10 mutants on the planet he is going to make sure that human race is still eradicated.
X-men is horrible now.
You must have forgotten when Magneto was a school teacher at the X-Men mansion and was teaching the other kids when to bow in and out of conflict.
You must have forgotten the early stories told in the 70's when Magneto called off attacking humans because they took too many causalities and I quote "I would not lead my people into a battle to see them wasted...we must flourish first...revenge second."
Magneto was never a single minded jack off that was "hellbent" on destruction.
Also,
You must have forgotten the Xavier who was in space blasting, mind raping (Brood and Badoon) and killing shit wholesale during his adventures in space...70's, 80's....90's.
Not defending Marvel - But the real problem with the book is not the portrayals of the heroes....it's their villains.
The villains who hate mutants, hate the x-men just stood by when they was weakest and let them build up....Decimation should been a true decimation...
As Kitty said in X-Men the End. There was only one enemy where the X-men stance was kill first and ask questions later. The Brood. So I will take that as more of a circumstantial situation.

I get what your saying, but this is still way out of character for magneto.
This dude has been through WW2 concentration camps, genosha being destroyed, and many other tragedies. Yes the mutants are losing their powers but their not being eradicated. I can understand him wanting to approach the x-men but.....did he really need to bow down???

Its funny how people praise the Walking Dead because the characters evolved ( plus its the shit ) but then someone tries to do something Different with the X-men ( they've been stagnant for years ) and everybody hates..I loved the X-men since my teenage years, and I admit some of the stories lately seemed like filler, but I like Cyclops how he is now, running shit. He a grown ass Man and he's still gonna listen to Xavier who : Lied about his brother, which got his Father killed, as well as other things FOH!! and Magneto was just in awe because Scott brought every Mutant together..which never happened before, Namor is an X-man, Cloak & Dagger are X-men...What??? I'm loving it

Also Cyclops is the man???? Who gave you purpose? Any man knows he can't be a man unless he goes out and make it on his own. He is wearing a X on his chest and he was still living at Xavier's mansion.
If he is going to act like some general move all the way out without Xavier's Resources and if you are not following the dream Xavier set then call it something else.
Do what Cable did he took the New Mutants and form X-Force.
