Maybe I'm being overly harsh on them, especially since I'm not a huge fan of DC. Marvel has that pizzaz where DC is more mundane. I dunno, that how it seems to me *shrugs*

No contest! Byrne wasn't the best writer in the world but his pens more than made up for most shortcomings. Peter David had her cracking and joking right up to the last book. These guys doing the writing for PG (Palmiotti & Gray)...can't seem to get out of each others' way. Two issues in and I'm ready to call it quits. One more ish then

I think that she is her closest DC counterpart. Because Ms Marvel gets lost in the shuffle also.
Ms Marvel post Civil War was a very interesting character.
As the leader of the Mighty Avengers (one of the most powerful Avengers line ups ever), Her dysfunctional relationships In her own book, and the way she handled the Skrulls single-handedly.

But now she just plays the background of the New Avengers.


They could do the same thing with Power Girl.
Maybe they could try and figure out why whenever she touches Supergirl there is a huge backlash.
I would love to see her on New Krypton.
