Naa that's half the fun. Marvel puts these elaborate stoyline together so that we CAN dig deeper and try to find out what direction they are going.

Ultimates is a horrible book.

Hopefully the fix all the problems with Secret Invasion. The books so far are good, but it does leave me with a ton of questions.

What is your opinion on The Return to Wonderland books? The covers are pretty cool, but I haven't read any of them.

oh yeah I agree with Hardcore Legend on that point that digging deeper is half the fun! I enjoy just reading this thread just hearing people's opinions on "Who's the Red Hulk", why the ultimates suck, what people think about Final Crisis (I'm lovin' it), and why Marvel just seem to forget about what they wrote just a couple of months ago. It's fun just disecting the books for more meaning.

I think marvel needs a stronger editor, ultimates line was a great idea, but to fuck it up this bad is shocking, and not just the ultimate avengers, I mean xmen and fantastic four also, all started off great but marvel handed them off to the wrong people, ultimate spidey is the strongest book out there. And I am sick to death of them pimping out wolverine in every book! even the new upcoming cartoon is called "wolverine and the xmen", thats redundant

WHAT?! NO! He did Chemo... had surgery to remove it...damnit!!! It's not fair!!!

Truely the comic industry, if not the world has suffered a great lost. Dude's art was ahead of its time. Unique. Crisp. Powerful. I know personally I picked up alot of books just because his name was on them or he did the cover. I'm sad now.

I would check out a book just because he did the art.
That's a great loss.


I like the WONDERLAND and GRIMM FAIRY TALES books. Good art work and writing.

Leonard Sampson?? Wasn't expecting that, but isn't he friends with Banner? I'm a lil annoyed that he's back to dumb Hulk. They could have kept World War Hulk, it would have been a nice change of pace.

And what's with FF #558? I'm assuming that's an alternate version, I'm getting annoyed with the lack of consistency. If they change a character, they should keep it a while. And at least explain if they decide to reverse things.

I agree with your consistency remark in regards to The Hulk.

But that didn't make the last two pages of FF #558 any less stunning.

Millar and Hitch are THE SHIT on that book.

My view on your Hulk spoilers:

I don't think the Red Hulk is Doc Samson. I think its General Ross. I don't think they want the identity to be that straight forward. It's hot that they got Thor fighting him next issue though.

Maybe, writers love to try to keep you guessing till the end. I'm not too impressed with him fighting Thor, the fight with the Green Hulk was trash.

It's stunning, but he's an alternate or a future version. So, they will find a way to write him out the story. Maybe I'm just annoyed at Marvel's patterns, great story idea / stupid ending.
