Any luck on the links for Volume 2?

I had a crush on Misty for a while.
Powerman and Ironfist and Hero's For Hire are my sleeper comics.
I pick them up anytime i find them.
This lastest series was pretty good too. Too bad it got dropped.

:( I actually thought this series would last since they played such a big part in Civil War.. Plus Misty looked like Free from 106 in them issues.

The team would also come into conflict with the Headmen, as well as travel to the Savage Land and encounter Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy. Following these adventures, the Heroes For Hire became involved in World War Hulk, being captured aboard Hulk's stoneship. Humbug turns on the group, but in turn is betrayed by Earth's hive, which had been using him from the start. Colleen and Tarantula are heavily tortured, but are rescued by the rest of the team. Shang-Chi kills Humbug to avenge Tarantula's torture, and possibly out of mercy, as Humbug had mutated into a grotesque monster and was in great pain. Afterword the team splits up, with Paladin taking Moon-boy in for the reward offered for his capture. Black Cat tries to appeal to Paladin's good nature, but Paladin kicks her away and informs her she does not know him at all. Shang-Chi departs the group carrying the still injured Tarantula in his arms. Misty attempts to console a still heavily distraught Colleen, trying to encourage her that the team could still keep going, but Colleen will hear none of it. Colleen states that the moment the team sold their service as heroes they sold the best part of themselves. Colleen walks away leaving Misty alone, signalling the complete end of team.

he's been a brotha for a minute now. Its crazy 'cuz he's had to kill his own son as the Spectre and all kinds of wierd shit. Crispus Allen, the brotha that plays the Spectre, is a former cop, slain in the line of duty. Basically every story is a crime/detective story with Allen watching the police solve the murder, once they figure out who the murderer is, Spectre takes control of Allen and offs the murderer in some gruesome fashion.

If you like comics where the bad guy gets killed almost everytime, you might wanna check out a couple books.
Crispus? Come on.. don't they know we have regular names like Roger or Bobby?

HAY! Im gonna name my son after Crispus Atticus! Or Elijah or Isaiah or Josiah!

:smh:this series had so much potential. I think marvel just wanted them around for Civil War and didn't know how to end it afterwards so they came up with this cop out storyline:hmm:

I pose a Question..What if Marvel created and wrote the JLA....
and then did an Ultimate revision to it...
Well no need to wonder as here it is and much better than I believed possible, Its a MAX series so it gets a little grimy in places which helped I really liked it.
Characters:

# Hyperion, based on Superman
# Nighthawk, based on Batman
# The Whizzer, based on The Flash
# Doctor Spectrum, based on Green Lantern
# Power Princess, based on Wonder Woman
# Amphibian, based on Aquaman
# Golden Archer, based on Green Arrow (originally named Hawkeye, later named Black Archer)
# Lady Lark, based on Black Canary (later named Skylark)
# Tom Thumb, very loosely based on The Atom
# Blue Eagle, based on Hawkman (originally named American Eagle, later named Cap'n Hawk)
# Arcanna, based on Zatanna
# Nuke, based on Firestorm

If you're a comic book fan...download and read every single one of these...GREAT series.

Man, that joe quesadilla guy has no balls.

I have NEVER seen so many COP OUTS on revolutionary storylines sicne he took over.

Civil war was bs, world War Hulk was BS...and don't get me started on One More Day.

That being said, a HUGE factor that fucked daughters of the dragon was that they cut down the cheese cake factor...I bought the first couple books, just because of the art work and funny take on the story lines.

They switched artists...added GUYS to the group...and fucked the shit up.

I was trying to grab the Daughters of the Dragon mini since someone was interested in Misty Knight, but I hit a few complications. If I get it I will share....Never read it but the covers caught my eye

TIGHT ASS POST!!!!!!!!

All this shit is true, but actually...Marvel previously created these characters back in 1969 to squabble against the Avengers, but they were called the "Squadron Sinister", they were from a parallel universe. The original members were Doctor Spectrum, Hyperion, Nighthawk and Whizzer. Couple years ago Straczynski revamped the story and characters and put out these books.

Real talk though? i purchased all these books in hardback from amazon.com last year...the best group of stories i've ever read...i got my girl to read them shits...now she's hooked. don't sleep.

Must agree Squadron Supreme was ahead of the game. The Book has great potential if they can keep up the storyline with volume 3 and keep to schedule.

Squadron Supreme is DEFINITELY a MUST-READ.
Flat-out awesome ;-)

Thanks for the upload.
@ Linker keep it up. Great Thread.

btw anyone got Hyperion vs Nighthawk 3 and up? The first two were fookin cool! NightHawk is Badass. calling 'Black Batman' is a bit too easy, at least I know I LIKE Batman, but Nighthawk is kind of an asshole, but still an EXCELLENT character.
