I take it you haven't read Straczynski's Spider-Man books the past 6 years or so...? He said "fuck it" very early in that run, all the way from the Totem storyline, to Sins Past and The Other, right on up until One More Day.

u see, that's where we have different opinions...i actually liked the Amazing Spidey books of the past few years. As far as the One More Day shit, i don't know that, that was his idea...could've been, but i can neither confirm, nor deny. i don't see him comin' up with that shitty idea just to hand it off to someone else...that had to be some other Marvel exec.

It's got that indie comic feel...black & white, short stories filled with adult language and content, centered around normal everyday relationships instead of superhero & spandex shit.

It's the kind of comic you read when you're stuck on a plane for hours and ain't got shit else to do OR, it's wednesday and nothing new came out for your regular reads but you wanted to pick something up anyways.

I read the 1st story of the 1st issue. Didn't get around to reading the rest. Props to Linker on the drop. There sure is something in this thread for everyone.
