I don't think he's dead though. The Legacy mini-series hints that he's alive but his mind may be fucked up.

Another thing I just noticed is that in the very last panel of on the next to last page his body disappears. I wonder what that's about.

Green Lantern Had a great ending. So did Infinite crisis. It was always billed as a lead in to final crisis. But as a self contained arc it worked.
52 was done well. Countdown sucks ass. The Legion Arc in Action is being written by the guy who did the GL mini, Geoff johns. So i have hope.

I agree, makes me wonder if Marvel is going to have him be the one who causes the chain of events that lead to the mutants in the future being in that concentration camp, since they never really said which mutant caused it

Thats what I was thinking. By coming back he actually caused the future instead of preventing it.

Because if you go back to Executioners Song it was Cable(STRYFE) that everybody saw shoot Xaiver, but this time around it was in fact Bishop. And his whole mission was to save Xaiver and the X-Men

This is the was they should go with it. But it seems like they dug themselves a hole by switching up the teams yet again!

aw naw son, they'll never dig themselves into a hole! even if they do, they'll just have the character make a deal with the devil and undue the last 20+ years of fuck ups :cool:

I might have to dig up them Executioner Song shits to see what happened, and the new Cable looks promising too

x-ecutioner's song was the shit. i'm not sure if they ever made a hard copy but any comic feature art by greg capullo is worth the money (i wish i could find all the x-force issues he did)

anyway...long story short stryfe poses as cable and shoots professor x during his i have a dream speech, infecting him with a techno virus. the x-men thinking it was cable goes on a man hunt for cable and x-force (ill ass fight between x-men and x-force)

yadda yadda yadda they find out cable didn't do it and it was stryfe all along and they also find out who cable really is (scott and maddie pryor's son) stryfe and cable fight it out on the moon and a bomb goes off and jetsets them both into the future.

stryfe leaves a nasty present for the mutant race which is the legacy virus that infects only mutants. the first infected mutant is mr sinister's(for some reason, mr. s reminds me of miles davis) assistant(what does that job pay and what are the health benefits?). he basically says "what the fuck are you coughing for? you should strap up before fucking those chicks at irving's in pg county lol)

in the mix apocaplypse dies (yet again) but he's a real nigga(african slave and the first mutant) so he'll keep coming back until he gets what the world owes him

True, but Frank didn't walk away unscathed. I wonder if the writers will leave his "major injury" as is.
 
honestly, theres just no pleasing some people, that story was great, compelling, exciting, thought provoking with great art. (except for predator X he was just a curve ball to throw us off track but overall useless) I am usually annoyed with all the time traveling days of future past re hash stuff, but this was pretty damn good. and the fact that cyclops after i don't know how many years finally woke up and found his goddamn balls, i swear i NEVER looked at him as a real leader until now. (and astonishing x men too)

I'm sure giant sized X-men #1 v.3?? 4??? isn't far behind....with magneto on the cover, again. of course.....;)
