I didn't know they were publishing their series still though.

Reading is really a lost art.

That is not an ONGOING SERIES. That's the finale of the original Milestone universe.

The bait and rape that DC committed is over and done with. They promised ongoing titles for D to integrate the characters...they reneged. DC will only be using characters here and there and will only focus on the more popular characters into any of their core titles...Static only so far.

I would break it down further but I don't speak Michael Bayish.

DC.

Brightest Day.

They Were Brought Back For A Reason.

We have not actually written or figured out that reason but @ 3.99 a book we will figure it out together!

Deadman will become Alive Man!

Black firestorm is now in the head of the white man that killed his girlfriend but not really because it was the ring you...know the ring that was their dead bodies but not really them just using them to get emotion-os out of heroes...for something...Wait...why does Jason have to stop being Firestorm while the white cat gets to be firestorm again....

DC.

Just give us your money. Fuck it.

We'll do it live!

Hate to be the asshole here but I can understand why Ronnie would be the Firestorm body while Jason is in the background.

I can't eat the fact that Firestorm came back from the dead...was 'evil' and only killed one person...when he could have turned gummy bears into nuclear devices and air molecules into thorns as everyone was breathing them...

He is one of the few writers/artist the GET what comics are about. He doesn't have to have something spectacular happen in his books and they are still enjoyable.

X-Men, FF, She Hulk, Superman, ect...

I remember one issue he had Superman fall in love with a Mermaid and that was one of my favorite comics for a long time...lol

Man you won't believe, that was 1 of the first comics I brought after doing my Saturday morning hustle :dance::lol:

That's what I mean.
After all this time we should not remember that comic.
No one died, nothing cosmic happened, no one debuted, no one was crippled...ect

it was just an enjoyable read.

Companies are not going to publish stories like that anymore.

You mean Marvel and DC. There are host of other publishers that publish great comic tales that don't involve all that other nonsense.

I think the actual point being made is that there are even parts of BGOL where folks can exchange, communicate, share without being dicks. :smh:

Yeah but there's little fun in civility at all times...besides if the person really was interested in a topic (especially that one) they would find out more about it before shooting out questions they can answer themselves.

Issues 1-7

Wild Dog is a fictional vigilante published by DC Comics. He first appeared in Wild Dog #1 (September 1987), and was created by Max Allan Collins and Terry Beatty.

Wild Dog first appeared in a four issue mini-series (issue #1, cover date September 1987). The series is credited to Max Allan Collins, Terry Beatty and Dick Giordano. Shortly thereafter, the character appeared in Action Comics Weekly. Normally a Superman title, at the time Action Comics was going through an incarnation as a high page count anthology title with short episodes of different characters' ongoing stories appearing in each issue. There were three major Wild Dog story arcs in Action Comics Weekly; in-between the second and third, the character appeared in his own one-shot Wild Dog Special. Wild Dog's final appearance in Action Comics Weekly was issue #641 (cover date March 7 1989). The last issue of Action Comics Weekly was #642, after which the book went back to Superman stories, a normal page count, and normal monthly schedule.

Wild Dog was an auto mechanic / garage owner named Jack Wheeler from the Quad Cities area who was dedicated to fighting terrorism and urban crime. (Wheeler had been a high school and college football star as well as a decorated marine. His war on criminal activity originated in the cold-blooded murder of his girlfriend by the Mafia.) His actions in the beginning were mainly directed against domestic American terrorists led by the "Committee for Social Change". As seen in the short-lived series Wild Dog was quite willing to use deadly force against his equally violent opponents.

In an alternate timeline accidentally created by Booster Gold Wild Dog was part of a resistance cell against Maxwell Lord, being one of the only heroes still alive or uncaptured.

Armed with a Jatimatic GG-95 SMG PDW and a pair of electrified "shock gloves", his costume consisted of camouflage pants, combat boots, a local college football jersey emblazoned with a snarling red dog (hiding his protective body armor) and a hockey mask to conceal his identity.

Excellent flash from the past. I said it before somewhere in this forum/thread - DC write excellent crime stories.

I have a personal fondness for this book and books like it where the super hero is wearing common clothing as a costume.

Your papa sounds like a good man!
